Micro Direct static on the UX8 between mic, guitar between instrument. Windows XP SP3. Ableton LIVE7.

USE

No problem, just follow the instructions.

No; I simply dsactiv audio interface of the PC.

Pretty simple and very complte in the possibilities of paramtrage

Yes, there is no need for a 50-volume encyclopedia to operate.

I was looking for a USB sound card, versatile, including a power supply 48V possdant, modlisations of amps and multiple entries.
I tried it on two PCs for 4 years, including a laptop.
It is often used with a squenceur, and every day as bte sound card.
To date I have used the line inputs, instruments, and microphones (but not for ending for SPDIF).

UTILIZATION

Software: the drivers and amps are still modlisations update APRS four years (as compatible with the UX2, Line6 and other products). I got a variety of Tlcharger backtracks, drumloop, etc. .. sympatoche well.
Sound: I find really beautiful modlisation amps for guitars. For bass and vocals, I have not russi be completely filled. For DIFFERENT effects there is something to please everybody normally (de-esser, compressor, wah, reverb, eq, etc.), but the voice ... I feel like a ceiling. That said, the reverbs are fun.
Latency and operating gnral: the beginners, I t trs concerned about latency in cubase (> 20-30 ms, or if there are pops, if Reduces the size of the memory buffer). In fact, we do not care. Just use the direct monitoring Systm (the choice between what is meant as a monitor is done by soft line6), and the issue of latency does not arise when taking.
Mcanique: after four years there ... say anything. The appearance of the buttons is indniable plastic, but has UX8 plutt fire pace. It is quite difficult because of the dpoussirer granular appearance of metal. I remember taking the USB is quite ticklish. That's it for this: it's good for me.
Line to instruments: It's all good
Pramplis microphones: they are the major weakness of the UX8 must push them to have any background sound, and pousss background .... they blow. We must therefore look for the optimum rglage, a good compromise amplification / breath, a little frustrating.

OVERALL OPINION

In a word, I would say that UX8 is practical.
It is still save prt: piano / mic / guitar / bass. Squenceur I run, I choose the routing, and go. It is frankly a good bte, it does not move, once connate limitations.
The report quality price trs correct, because I had all the features I wanted in one box.

Prampli studio USB2 8-channel amplifier with a simulated guitar / bass / voice prampli. 24 bits/96kHz of resolutions: imperceptible latency in my config: 4ms. Trs well on this point.

UTILIZATION

Site amenities as usual in line 6, no particular concern.
A trick even when routing: the gearbox standalone app that does gre Stros two signals simultaneously, so what actually is a double TonePort UX2 interface + / pr 8 channel mic amp ... Not bad, even if we could have the gearbox standalone prfrer gre all 8 channels simultaneously and rel time for some applications, but would probably overload the mchamment PC processor ... If you need the 8 pramplis, they are arranged and clear trouble-free and trs can be applied in the gearbox as it comes with plug whatever happens ... So no big deal but it had to prciser ...

The drivers are ultra stable (as usual), and the sound t much revised up from the UX2 and 1 ... More clear, clean, and wide, particulirement pramplis on microphones that are now as clear as those of the konnekt24 example. OVERALL OPINION

Excellent quality price for this interface (which again from line6 throws a big pav in sick), well Designed trs. Some will find many ways to rler, but it would return 10 years in rear to see what was the era for the same price (dj only allowed us to double that April 1 minidisc tracks for those who taient the dj), so happy ...
