Soundcraft Compact 10

Routing is a bit unusual to the mix, it's not a console config "standard" is very focused mini-studio with sound card and computer.

UTILIZATION

Not complicated to use.
Ergonomics impecccable, really a lot of possibilities with a very small footprint.
The manual (in English) is pretty damn bad. It's simple to understand but not really well structured.

SOUNDS

The preamps are of good quality.
The sound is as good at the bottom than the top of the spectrum. The specified bandwidth (20Hz-20Khz to + / - 0.5 dB) is certainemnet below the actual performance (up).
For cons: it blows a lot, strangely it is not pre-amps that blow, but the floors and output equalizers. Because of that I break the note.

OVERALL OPINION

I've had one month and I tested many things on it (including opportunities RIAA) and really the only thing that I blame him away.
Too bad, because no complaints about the rest.
Because of this the quality / price ratio is correct and no more.

It is a very simple console, made for beginner computer music unwilling to take the lead too (like me)
the routing function is very convenient, as the 2 headphone outputs
The manual is not used but it is too detailed

SOUNDS

The breath has no means to earnings, for my use of sound recording it is transparent, I'm still not used live, I will tell you when it's the case
The EQ responds well even if I use it just because the sounds are already treated (synth, preamp etc. ..)

OVERALL OPINION

I've had this summer (three months) I like the routing function, the 2 headphones and look, I like less the fact that there have only insert and the single slices and then the knobs for volume, I prefer faders but hey it depends on people!
I have not tried other model because it is rather difficult to try, but technically I compared the price of any such kind Tapco mixers, Mackie, Yamaha, etc. ... soundcraft parru me the most suited to what I needed
The report qualitée price is very good knowing that it is less than 250 euros.
With experience I can not say, I hesitated a digital mixer, but for now it does not disappoint me, I hope it will work just as well

Configuration very simple, clear, no need for manual adj manipulated if some consoles.

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for two months ending for 100% Home Studio
I love the most: compact, flexible routing, the look (the blue white red vumtre fit), ergonomics.
what I like least: cf use

I wanted to stay home to avoid losing soundcraft audio rendering and because I like this brand, I almost left on a console numrique c'tait but ultimately more expensive and not much for me INTERESTED.

The ratio quality price is excellent

UTILIZATION

It's rather simple, as small, however the possibility of routing are staggering for a console of this size. I'm on your ass, you can almost do everything. The only limitation I know for my use: do not have the power mix allieurs musicians in the headphones. Too bad because to play bass was very useful for me rgler balance playback / her instrument. The grip is a little dlicate to beginners, but after exploring several advantages output is easily bte mastery. Moreover it is logically trs as an organization, we find easily in case you forget.

Well from my old Behringer UB502, there's no photo. DEFINITIONS more, more precision, dynamics, rendering bass is better. I thought the behr neutral ...

The EQ is an effective particulirement p'tite console.
For breath, I can not say mainenant as I have temporarily given that the sound card Intgr the motherboard. However, I still had my EMU 1212m front, and it seems that the breath is trs discreet. To be confirmed later.

OVERALL OPINION
