Behringer Ultragraph Pro FBQ1502

The Ultragraph FBQ 1502 is a 15 band stereo graphic equalizer that will give you full control over your audio signal. It is great for live and studio recordings because of all of its functions. It has a low cut filter that will get all of those low end muddy frequencies out of your mix or out of your live sound depending on where you are using it. It also will do a great job with your feedback frequencies and eliminate them so you will be feedback free!

UTILIZATION

This EQ can be racked and should be racked if you want to get the best use out of it. We have it in our rack case that has about 8 racks total in it so we never have to take it out we just carry the whole case with us when we go to perform or work a set. The FBQ 1502 could not be easier to use, you will not need a manual to use it as long as you have some basic knowledge of how EQ works. Using this EQ is even better in my opinion than using a similar EQ in a VST version because I feel like hardware just works better and you do not ever have to worry about it crashing.

SOUND QUALITY

Sound quality is amazing when working with this EQ. You can get it to create any sound you want. It may take a little more work though if you are use to working with computer based EQ.

OVERALL OPINION

We have also used this in a studio as the main equalizer and we loved working with it. It gave use the sound we were looking for when using it as our master EQ. There are not bad things to say about this unit, it works great and has no problems. For the price that it cost it is a must have for any live musicians or studio musicians because it only cost 100 dollars. You will love the sound you can get with it, you cannot beat this value for the price.

UTILIZATION

No need even for manual output sub!
Editing sounds are very difficult for those who are audiophil! (See below)

SOUND QUALITY

I use it for everything, both (guitars, bass, singing, studio mixes in general, insertion of channels, sound)
I like nothing! ! ! (I mean the sound) I bought it just for the money and my studio is a matter personal to cad models that's all! ! ! ! Pleasure or to friends.

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for a few months.
I used another band EQ 2x31 another brand a few years ago I can not remember the brand, it was certainly a bit more expensive then a 1800 frs (3 x the price) but I had no breath and corrections were not criardent like it!
Away! ! ! a very big problem the moment or you want to significantly increase frequencies.
When I say that the sound editing is very difficult it is precisely because of this aggressiveness frequencies that give you the breath of the high frequencies and it very quickly, no need to push really hard to hear those who do not intend for me are people who do not have the ear of a audiophil and do not need an EQ I think!
All this allows time to correct these problems even with wholes and if that does not bother you like me, then you should, but "NOT REALLY" to market your final product.
I would do this choice certainly not if I had to work more seriously.
Even if one day I sold it I not withdraw my opinion not to mislead the purchaser as those who are mistaken sellers.

UTILIZATION

Very simple.
FBQ has a function which allows to analyze the sound spectrum input and correct the sound against the Feedback / feedback effects. This device is not very convincing ...

SOUND QUALITY

Which is significant.
Transparent effect.
Not distort the signal when the bypass branch.
No particular breath, either at position 6 or 12 + /-dB correction.
This is good!

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for a few days to make the correction facade.

It is very good but two faults (the second is to the conditional):

* Quality knobs so linear sliders "float" on their tracks, and we will see if they wear tight or it will take to clean the bomb touch regularly to prevent them "crachouillent";

* Knobs are notched only zero and not by the degree of rotation, it loses precision settings (this being in the dark is better to identify with a single point!).

So a priori it is good!

super simple setup, I have not opened the manual and everything works perfectly.

SOUND QUALITY

I use the equalizer at the end of the chain, just before the receiver / recorder, so there goes directly to the mix and not an individual instrument.
The result is effective, but keep in mind the overall impact of a change in the sound image returned, and it is easy to cause disasters instead wonders if there is not enough in finesse ...

I use it for a few months. I have not tried other models.

If the LEDs on each slice are at first a little gadget, it may be necessary using the functions integrated spectrum analyzer, or when working in low light or darkness live ...

Unbeatable value for money (considering the price).
