UTILIZATION

Very easy to use and great in its operation: in fact it was two in a chorus with two separate settings

By against the insert jack are on the sides and feel of the pedal is not great ... the footswitch is more fragile

SOUND QUALITY

I think it's the best digital chorus (after preferred can be the sound of analog) format pedal on the market: it does not sound cold while being very accurate, no background noise and then the ability to have two settings different

Undoubtedly it sounds like hell!

OVERALL OPINION

I have 5 years but I have not had it for 3 years! I mean after six months I blew one of the footswitch and I made the mistake of going to the shop where I buy (for a good cause I balance: Bob opera) result I waited almost three years without further until I pastes a cable and decided to get the pedal ... Following this mishap it was necessary that I fix myself this unfortunate switch of a type that is very very special so I carl martin contact by the website: I had the pieces after four days and free! all that to say that if the brand is very poorly imported into France headquarters in Denmark has a great ability to react!

UTILIZATION

General configuration: it is a dual switchable stereo chorus, with only two settings (depth and speed) for chorus ... all that is super simple.

The manual is clear and sufficient, given the little knobs to handle.

Are readily sounds you desire.

Important details for pedalboard users:
- No power supply can be battery or even a multi-feed (power plant and company)
- Large pedal
- Difficult to place in a pedalboard

SOUND QUALITY

This effects pedal is excellent:
- The chorus is quite exceptional product (for my taste), the notes are accurate, with a background of bell, slightly metallic, and even fluted
- The sound is rather "transparent", but far from bland, and respects the very grain of the guitar-amp
- Despite the lack of available settings (depth and speed), the range of possible sounds is huge, from chorus to chorus very discreet "emetic" (sea sick for the connoisseur), and all these sounds are exploited!
- The ability to switch between two chorus is more useful than it looks: a clean chorus, another distortion, such
- Boosts pedal discreetly signal when activated

One downside to the sound: not true bypass (it can stop some)

I use this pedal with my guitar: Teisco Spectrocaster, Fender American Standard Telecaster, Ibanez 540PII, Vigier Excalibur Indus.
My amp is nothing special.

OVERALL OPINION

I use the Carl Martin Chorus xII since September 2009, on the good advice of a forumeur "G.com" (Earthworm Jim ).

But I also have another chorus pedal: the T-Rex Twister 2.
Although excellent, the Twister 2 is still slightly off from the Carl Martin Chorus XII.
I also tested another chorus, the Boss CH-1, but she had not packed more than that ...

The specifics I prefer:
- The sounds that I can draw
- The sound of this pedal
- The opportunity to spend a chorus of light to a heavy chorus
- Transparency without being dull
- Build quality

What I like least:
- No true bypass (Notice to purists)
- No power supply can be battery or even a multi-feed (power plant and company)
- Large
- Difficult to place in a pedalboard

The quality / price ratio ... that's where the rub ...
- € 210-220 on the sites that everyone knows, it's very expensive!
- € 120 € -150 hand, is an investment that's worth, for those who love the chorus!

A € 119 used, it is clear that I would do this choice because the chorus is my favorite, and Carl Martin Chorus xII is my favorite chorus.
