It takes the place of a pedal on a pedalboard unlike Memory Man who eats half.

UTILIZATION

SOUND QUALITY

Although at first I struggled with this effect I saw my opinion.

The delay is good, it does not sound Memory Man and it is perhaps better that gives him some own character.

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for a few weeks, I must say that I almost sell after a few hours of use because he went too fast self oscillation: past 12pm on the feedback knob was uncontrollable and I was getting yelled at by other musicians who were "draft" ... after researching on the net I opened the beast pawed the trimpot No. 5 (note gain per side) and I extended the feedback by reducing autoscillation. the shot is impeccable now.

Delay circuit with analog technology

UTILIZATION

SOUND QUALITY

The sound is NOT clear and repetitions are not faithful reproductions of the original guitar signal. This is not a judgment of taste, but all know before you buy. This pedal is used, in a small and a modest price format, to have a warm delay, which defaults to the charm.

NOTE: the arrival of the repetition is accompanied by breath. That means if you put the time of the longest possible delay: when repeating sounds, adds a small breath then goes slowly, "fade out".

Personally, I love this little delay unpretentious, a bit "lo-fi" on the edges, but effective and easy to use.

Its strong point in my opinion is the "slapback", that is to say, a repetition of a short time, typical rock'n'roll, 1950-60.

OVERALL OPINION

I use it on stage, a lot! For three years I think. I tried the Memory Boy and I preferred the little brother (the two have nothing to do anyway ...).

I have a venerable Roland RE-201 (Space Echo) magnetic tape (which now needs repair). A real tape echo unit, this is great but in my opinion it is for the studio, unless you ais a tour bus or a mad desire to wrestle you 10kg unit in addition to your amp and your guitars.

So now, the Memory Toy is incomparable to the previous example, but for now, for me, he did his job for small scenes and aged very well (it's solid, no frills, all the EHX spit).

SOUND QUALITY

Pedal used with a Les Paul Faded on a Kustom bass amp.

So first I find the sound of hell (I also have a TC-Electronic Flashback is a sacred reference) but not against the masses in large settings it has a short delay to thicken the sound , a long delay for solo hard rock using a saturated, clear sound and the modulation switch is nice.

I thought Toy resell the Memory, but I keep it, even with all its faults (auto swing easy, gain volume, blend used as the first half of the race) has a grain, a warmth that I have hard to find on other delay.
Usually the debate / D makes me smile, especially when you compare the stuff cheap digital with analog expensive.
But this one I admit that I tilt to the grain and wild side that starts oscillation in the car for a bit of nothing ....

I've had barely a month. The delays I was using previously were exclusively those of my home processor M350 TC Electronics connected as an insert in my mixer.

I wanted a usable without delay to initiate any station computer and the table. Just the guitar, the amp and basta, and I do not lose anything in the process.

The format of the pedal is a plus, of course. His big stack consumption of a brake solved by plugging in my Harley Benton Powerplant.

Bought second-hand (even if it is unused because the new owner prédédent), it presents a very good value for money. Nine is a bit pricey, but on occasion I recommend it and buy it back if necessary (loss, theft, breakage or failure).

The Nano series is really deliver.
The memory Toy filled his role perfectly.
The sound of the delay is warm and deep, no coloration of sound. We can note a slight increase in the sound but it's still very acceptable.

Bought 2 months ago, I would do this without buying any hesitation.
I think this series will address the amateur guitarists who want to play with quality effects without breaking the bank too.

Analog delay time long enough for solos higain, fixed modulation Snap.

Very easy to use.

SOUND QUALITY

First, and this is a big advantage over all delay pedals I have, the overall volume is much higher when the toy memory is in use.
As I place my pedals after overdrive / distortion / compressor I automatically a volume louder solo is great.
