USE

The handle is very comfortable (Ibanez requires). on the other hand it is better suited to the fingers more "elongated" as "small" fingers
As against it is not at all balanced, worse than my BC Rich, making the live game a little difficult at times, because in addition to playing the handle must be good .. it is a usual story but it's always worse.

I play marshall and mesa lamp ... in both cases, the neck pickup can still do the trick, for against the bridge pickup is really really light. Very tinny, no punch, no guts ... short throw.

I bought this new from a local music store for the manufacturers suggested retailing price of £450-I have since discovered that you can get it via the internet for a possible £400, but that doesn't include postage and packaging. I walked in to the shop to kill a few minutes, saw it on the wall and had a go....30 minutes later I walked out with it!

I have always loved the shape-it's a real "marmite" guitar; you either love or hate the way it looks but either way you'll have an opinion!
The sound quality is excellent- the ibanez humbuckers that come as standard on this model are superb, although one needs to be careful not to let them overpower your sound and make everything sound too bassy.
The guitar is solid mahogany and features a great glued in neck. The access to the higher frets is superb and the frets themselves are fat and well finished. The fret inlays are similar to those on a Les Paul, abalone block inserts.
It's so "rock" that it only comes in black with cream binding and chrome hardware.


The fact that I'm having a really difficult job getting a case-Ibanez have discontinued the case that fits the iceman,(which makes no sense to me) and so I'm having to have one custom built

The construction and quality of this guitar is top notch. It's basically a Les Paul, but far funkier looking (in my opinion!) and a thousand pounds cheaper. The way it plays and feels is all its own though.
The finishing is superlative with no rough edges at all. The guitar hangs nicely when strapped on and sits well on your leg when you're not. It is heavy, but you'd expect that from a solid mahogany guitar like this.

For a whole host of reasons this guitar is a winner. If I had to single one out, it would be the quality of the instrument (irrespective of it's styling) for the price. Quite how Ibanez can produce this for this price when other big manufacturers can't or won't follow suit speaks volumes. If you're in the market for a real rock guitar with killer looks and tones to boot, check the iceman out!

BOUGHT IT AT GUITAR CENTER FOR $500

THE GUITAR PLAYS WELL. TONE IS FANTASTIK AND LOOKS REALLY COOL. PLAYED IT ON STAGE FOR THE FIRST TIME A WEEK AGO. GOT MANY COMPLIMENTS ON ITS LOOK. MANY KISS FANS STILL HANGIN OUT IN THE CLUBS IN NEW JERSEY

HEAVY AND VERY UNBALANCED. LET GO OF THE NECK AND THE GUITAR FALLS HEAD FIRST.
BECAUSE OF THIS THE GUITAR IS VERY UN- COMFORABLE TO PLAY. ALL THE WEIGHT OF THE GUITAR RESTS BETWEEN YOUR THUMB AND 1ST FINGER. I FRONT MY BAND AND THE UNBALANCE OF THIS GUITAR MAKES IT VERY DIFFICULT TO DO MY JOB. I WILL BE RETURNING IT TO GUITAR CENTER THIS WEEK...

Guitar made in Korea, made of mahogany, it has (alone) 22 frets, the pickups are hambuckers AH1 and 2 (for beginners: it is the right microphone) a neck position and the other bridge position (logical)

The bridge is a Full tune II (same type as that of Lespaul, it is impossible to put a whammy bar)

there are also three position switch, one position to another neck pickup bridge pickup and the middle of a sample of each coil microphone. (so no way, unless I am mistaken, play like a single coil)
Then a volume and tone knob for each pickup (or 4 knobs in total)

As for the handle, it is maple with rosewood fingerboard, it is stuck, (and this is a pure marvel)

UTILIZATION

The handle is merveilleu, very slightly concave, he married literally shape your fingertips, access to acute could not be more easy (the shape of the guitar to understand)

The guitar is not abusive heavy (but my old skyscraper looks like a toy nearby). Never lean forward without taking your guitar (I got a few scares at the beginning) because the strap lock on the left is the guitar (so dangerous).
The shape is great but causes a slight imbalance, in fact, besides this, the guitar tends to nose dive when the loose, but it does not interfere with the game

The value for money is fabulous. I paid 500dollars all round and I am more than happy!

I think I will remake this choice without any hesitation because it is really a guitar at the best value that we can find (and not having deep pockets, it's all good)

UTILIZATION

The handle is very nice and very fast.
The access to the latest cargo is easy thanks to the shape of this beautiful guitar.
Good ergonomics in terms of form, all seated stand.
The guitar is pretty light, but tends to pitch down when you loose the handle, but hey it's not very annoying.
I would put a 9 / 10 but good for this imbalance, given the form we can imagine that this guitar is not an equilibrium model.

SOUNDS

Sounds very rock / hard rock / metal, but also very nice to play a good old blues.
The pickups are quite powerful, and every time I plugged into my Line 6 Spider II combo through my Boss GT-8, I fly in the seventh heaven! This guitar sounds excellent releases, hot and clear, round sound terrible saturation with good sustain, and all for a pretty good price / quality ratio.

OVERALL OPINION

I now have this guitar for about two and a half years and I love it!
Well it does not have much original, I changed the pickups with DiMarzio Ibanez (Paf Pro neck and bridge in Tonezone) that has greatly improved the sound at all levels (both in clear saturation in ), I also installed a Floyd Rose Original, changed the knobs (also DiMarzio) and added a few trinkets for aesthetics. The installation of Floyd has left some scars but the end result worth it! It's a great guitar, very versatile, though rather heavy focus, and I remake this choice without hesitation!

Yes, thanks the shape of the scratch race and the access to acute al becomes a breeze.

Trs-Weight is reasonable, the shape is so wonderfully original ... she has a small mouth. It stings a little nose, surtt never give up the stick! But given the shape of the scratches on c'tait, but not terribly good (and it does in not the line of play).

Oh yes! Despite some say the pickups are not AH1/AH2 shit, but can use much changed for the 200% scratch.

I have for almost a year

I gaze dreamily still, the shape of this guitar is "pffffff <3" (like the handle and everything that composes it also)

I tried a bit of all the models I own (or owned) for Fender, Squier, Epiphone, Ibanez ... And the one I can not really do without it, it's love!

The build quality is appalling compared to its price range. The flight case comes with the guitar but it requires above all a quality guitar. I am disappointed at this level compared to other guitars (including BC Rich, for example).
As against what a pleasure to find a myth, the Iceman, who inspired many fans of Kiss particular (including Daron Malakian from SOAD).

UTILIZATION

The handle is very comfortable and facilitates rapid phrases. The balance of the guitar is excellent despite the form. Access to acute is simple (using the form ...). The guitar is rather light on the shoulders but not easy to play sitting (we doubt it).
No matter it is a pleasure to play on this guitar original and accessible. This is one of my favorites to play.

SOUNDS

Sound: For my part I like the humbucker pair of AH 1 and 2. Versatility of sounds, but still a preference for heavy sounds. The build quality is poor but the heaviness and the definition of sound on one channel saturated quickly erase that disappointment. Sounds clear invitation to play something other than metal: blues and rock welcome. With a good distortion is clearly fit into the metal and not worry about playing SOAD (although Malakian does not use Seymour Duncan pickups but I think).

OVERALL OPINION

I like its original form and distinguished, I hate the build quality unworthy of her. Next sounds I'm seduced. So do not let the poor quality of manufacturing: Once plugged in it is forgotten.

made in Korea. specially form is simply unique and gniale. the white edges are in fact ivory (h so as not online). cot painting is really beautiful. one to expect a matt color well but in fact it is a black reflte. What is even better on the scne ^ ^ I find no default design.

UTILIZATION

The neck is super agable. ACCS is easy to see the acute form of the bomb ... ^ ^ ds it has been in the hands we want to move back on the big mtal altrnatif.

SOUNDS

I use it mostly on marshall transistor and a little kustom. his sound is really good. but I think change for seymour. This scratch is really versatile and I recommend it. the humbucker is more, change the pickups to single monster revealed ^ ^ Gantes tones are really easily obtained, or a high-pitched baritone.

OVERALL OPINION

I've had two months to have APRS long look on the net. I can say I'm not. I could choose between 1000 scraper I took that ^ ^ I confess it be a fan of system but especially for its round shape and I took this machine. for those who go for hsite I say, this scratch is worth it.

Made in Korea, this guitar has a beautiful violin well finished, for the most demanding wood squarely rest but lack even the les paul acutelles not based so unless he has the habit of putting in a 2500 Roros vigier I would say it's good stuff.

I really like the color contour creme of this guitar gives it a pretty face almost vintage.
no but no defau for painting is simple and clean very well finished with a perfect continuity between the handle and copra.
button color at the origin is very ugly, I have replaced the same in gold
ca makes it pretty well .

In short, good wood (without abusing) good looks and well finished except for buttons, I put 7 to everyone understands that this is a guitar mid-range level characteristics.

UTILIZATION

The handle is very nice, I "reassuring" almost when I stand before uen hundred people. access to the treble is not so obvious that everyone says, it's easy, but I've seen better now.

Personally I find that the body is completely finished, the paint is prcise net, a real feast for the eyes! I never get tired of watching!

UTILIZATION

The handle, as one would expect from Ibanez, the game is built for fast and prcis, the handle is easy and enjoyable trs grip, it s' be done immediately, while some guitars (the razorback to name it) is much more difficult to approach ...
there is a good Access in acute (as a handle is more practical al) we can afford all the madness ...
many people are of the form that pleind am saying is heavy because of the large head and thus it falls forward ... at least mine does not do it and if you embte Just as a dplacer jumper
also form in it even though the game allows trs sitting though some say otherwise.

I use it for a year now and I never ever does but then so is the awesome and wonderful!
I love its shape which sduit me right away, and the handle at an angle like a Gibson Les Paul is perfect
I tried a multitude of pre MODELS (dean, jackson, bc rich ..) but I really cracked on the one, there's no photo. the other models here must also also ..

THERE's a sacred quality over price, really worth it to be achetbr /> exprience with the choice I would do the eyes closed ^ ^

UTILIZATION

The handle is made enjoyable play. The ergonomics of this guitar is good, despite a lightweight dsquilibre extrmit toward the handle.

SOUNDS

I play ska-rock-mtal-all-what-you-want-as-a-fit, and this guitar is perfect.
The original pickups dlivrent a good sound, rich and diverse. On scne, for reasons of simplicity I use the slecteur center position (two microphones at the same time), lowering the neck pickup lgrement 6 / 10. Result: one is its very equilibrated for both distortion for clean sounds.
I am therefore satisfied trs sound of this guitar.
Provided the flight case is perfect, and really inspires confidence rsistant.

OVERALL OPINION

Trs good guitar, which I bavais for a prs DCEN (when she was rcommenc be produced, it seems). 6 guitars later, here, and I must say I'm not.
Dlicieusement original form is really perfect and suits the style of music I play.
In addition to a sentimental attachment, this guitar REPRESENTATIVES really what I needed, as well as in terms of its appearance. I prcise the fact that Malakian plays (or might jou with such MODEL nothing to do with my choice and it would be wrong to think that this guitar is a big sound résumé saturated .
