Vox unveiled a new series of modeling combos for guitar, with two compact and affordable amps.

The new Vox VX series employs VET (Virtual Element Technology) modeling and 24-bit / 44.1 kHz conversion circuits, which gives you the opportunity to get a hybrid analog/digital configuration. Both VX I and VX II combos host 11 vintage and modern amp models ranging from 50s and 60s UK and US classics to the famous AC30 and high gain models. You’ll also find an 8-effect section with chorus, flanger, phaser, tremolo, analog and type-style delays and two Spring and Hall reverbs.

The amps are equipped with a USB port so that you can connect them to your Mac or PC and use the JamVox III modeling software with which you can create and store up to 22 user presets to the amp.

Both combos feature a bass reflex design, with a wooden baffle and an ABS enclosure.

The Vox VXI is a 15W RMS @ 4 Ohms that includes a 6.5” speaker. It includes a headphone output, aux input and footswitch input. This model has a US price of $99.99.

The Vox VXII provides 30W RMS @ 4 Ohms and hosts an 8” speaker. Its connectivity includes a headphone output, aux input, footswitch input and USB type B port. US street price is estimated at $149.99.
