The DOD Meatbox and Gonkulator are back

DigiTech announces the return in a few weeks of improved versions of the 90s DOD Meatbox and Gonkulator effect pedals for bass and guitar.

The 2015 edition of the DOD Meatbox improves the original octaver/synth/bass enhancer circuit. The smaller stompbox allows for producing a large variety of sounds and process the low-end of any bass or guitar in different ways thanks to the presence of Octave, Sub-Harmonic controls and an EQ. A 4th knob will adjust the output level and a true bypass is included.

The DOD Meatbox 2015 is powered by a 9V external adapter or battery. More info at digitech.com.

Also expected this Summer is the new version of the DOD Gonkulator ring modulator which was also improved in this 2015 edition in order to vary the modulation from very subtle to extreme. The ring modulation effect is completed with a distortion section which is described as aggressive and you’ll be able to adjust the gain, output level and effect frequency. The Gonkulator 2015 also features a true bypass switch.

Pricing of each pedal should be about £150.
