U-He DIVA

Pc Studio: quad core Intel Core i7 2600K (3.4 GHz, 3.8 GHz in turbo mode), 16 gb of ram (soon passage 32 or 64 gb) windows 7 64 bit, Cubase 6.5, Sound Card MOTU 828 mk3 Firewire HDD WD 1TB sata 3, well I think it's a beast race, and even some presets (bcp more rarely than mine of course) it's off the cubase vst performance, but overall it remains very stable, house presets do suck less CPU

Performance in general we will say, as is said below, he eats a lot, but on the pc studio we were able to use many without being forced to convert some audio tracks

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for 2 months, so I tried vsti, oula! speaking only emulation concerning the Diva jsuis passed by Arturia, the Minimonsta (which however is already an excellent emulation) Korg Legacy breaks etc .... Diva competition, potato, filters beautiful, this long race lasts for a time in which the digital vainly endeavored to approach the warm, creamy, rich and everything you want pure analog has come to an end, and it has only just begun, it's just huge , from the 1st testing on the origins nimble it feels, must be able to combine the osc ms-20 with moog filter (among other possible combinations with juno and jupiter) it just gives a beautiful result. I had the money it there's a time to buy a bo n large analog, I put everything in vsti and it took until 2012 for not regretted not having a Moog Voyager or else, I'm not going to detail, the test is quite explicit about the capabilities of this vsti, but I bought 179 euros without pb, but if I am at the end of the month and I have nothing to eat in the fridge, 179 euros!! 2 months that I have and when I touch it ... I can not believe when I play for example with the preset Hoover (one of the famous human resource dominator) I took a slap and that this preset, the bass, pads, leads, nothing to throw away everything is perfect, they even thought about the possibility to resize the vst, I just have a few pbs for automation, but it must come from me, a lil effort on my part and you should be fine. The installation is very simple.

The software is stable but terribly hungry CPU.
This is the price to pay for a truly exceptional sound reproduction.

OVERALL OPINION

DIVA is a semi-modular synthesizer hybrid in the sense that you can choose to use the section VCO, VCF and envelope famous analog synthesizers as Minimmog, Jupiter, Juno, or MS-20 and to combine these build your own synthesizer VA.
It has a very decent effects section and provided with full sound in different styles. You can control just what vst with any midi control surface.

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for a week, and I must say I'm not a big fan of virtual keyboards, until now I stood my ground, that is to say the analog synth ...
But I must admit I am amazed! sometimes I even find it hard to tell me that this is a vst and I am even sure that anyone who'd break your teeth on it.
I intended to invest in a new poly analog synth but in my current config need!

At sonnorités, I love his pad and lead (not tested because the bass stay on my moog) but what I find incredible is that warmth and Absorbed power that stands out from its competitors (if it has !), it does not have this feature that displeases me in vst, it does not sound metal.

At that price it's amazing, congratulations U-He!
