Here are my comments after one week of intensive testing:
Halion SE I do not like at all, as a very basic sampler (I must say that I worked a long time with the fruity loops full edition).
The large SE: very good piano sound my favorite VST.
Virtual Guitarist and Virtual Bassist: while there but then very very basic (and useless for me because I myself am a guitarist and bassist, it can be used to compose a basic funk or blues jam for what (the sounds are realistic enough ) ... but not a component of metal or prog guitar instrumental!)
Groove Agent: Huge disappointment sounds very far from realistic drum loops and are suck ... conclusion, I keep my FPC preset in fruity loops.
I wanted to buy this pack to get close to the best record sounds perfect and finally completed my first demo (go here to listen to what I made with Fruity Loops: http://ayman.chez.tiscali.fr)
is not with these tools that I will get there.
on the other hand CUBASE SE is very good and very ergonomic.
I am very disappointed because ultimately I have to juggle for my personal use between fruity loops or I made so easy that I import my samples in Cubase SE for final mix.
