This guitar t factory in Indonesia under control US. The violin is perfect.
It possde two humbucker Epiphone. A treble position and a position rythm or both. Very good microphones. I accuracy of all this are the same as on the Epiphone Les Paul Standard.
the bridge is that of all the Les Paul.
To grant, it is mcaniques groover, superb.
The handle is very like that of the Epiphone Casino.

USE

The handle is very pleasant.
The access to acute, unlike what I have read in various reviews, is satisfactory.
The ergonomics are excellent. The weight of the guitar brings stability and assurance to the game.
Sound, my opinion has not "ashamed" face sounds beaucup more onreuses guitars. The pickups are frankly very satisfactory, unlike what I've read, so no need to hurry to change. I think it sounds bad if we play bad, not bad if we play well, it's the same thing for a lot of things!

SONORITS

This guitar, it must be said, offers multiple possibilities: treble bass up, no problem.
Let us not forget that electric guitar sounds good if we jouebien but if the amp is rgl.
Personally, I use a Line 6, pr-amp, connected direcement my mixer, and sounds of the fire of God. I also use a Roland amp, ditto.

The quality money goes long commenaires: excellent, period.
It's a choice I do it again without problem. Besides, I'll probably buy me the std Ebony.

UTILIZATION

The handle is very nice, maybe a little finer than gibson, the access to acute, I think is very good, but it takes time to get used to the form. We obtain easily a good sound.
The guitar is quite heavy, which is pretty good sign for a Les Paul that price!
The sustain is very good for the price, but by the cons you have to admit that we are still far gibson!
It holds tune very well, even better than my Gibson Flying V!

In fact I would say this guitar buried a bunch of guitars dearest.

SOUNDS

I usually play the Metal with a lot of distortion on a randall RG75g3 with a boss ME50. And since that time I have I still have the original pickups!

For all that is hardrock is right up there playing a little with guns n roses is fun! For all that is thrash metal (Metallica has I think especially Slayer Megadeth) ca goes quiet.
For the slightly heavier Metal: Amon Amarth, Gojira, for example, ca going very well.

In fact the level is good this guitar at all levels, the only flaw may be that the neck pickup is a little soft for big distos, the coup was still almost all the time on the bridge pickup in heavy distortion

OVERALL OPINION

I've had a bunch of time, bought new has about 450 € on the Internet has the time, I did not need to try several models: I had a Les Paul.

This guitar is probably the best value on the market in this price range! Change the pickups is not an obligation.
With experience, I could redo this choice, but it pressed to mount a kit Emg James hetfield or kit emg 81 & 60, and like that have a good guitar emg and not too expensive (and I'm sure ca beats LTD € 1000 lol), for the simple reason that for some occasions, this can be useful to have the emg, but on a high end guitar I'd rather have the Seymours or gibson pickups !

Purchased through a local music store in Metepec, Mexico. Cost was $5300 pesos, which at the time was equivalant to about $460 US Dollars

It's an impressive guitar all around. Mine is a 2002 Standard Plus model made in China. It came stock with chrome Grover tuners and a beautiful Vintage burst finish over highly flamed and bookend maple.
It's a classic!

This guitar is always compared to Gibson's Les Paul. I don't think that fair considering the $1500 price difference!!!
Though they aren't Gibson's, Epiphones Les Paul a very well made and high quality guitars in their own right. I would recommend anyone looking for a guitar for less than a Grand, check it out.

Although the pickups that came with the guitar aren't bad, they don't even come close to bringing out the sound this guitar is capable of. I switched over to Seymour Duncan's 59s and now it's like a different guitar! I'd still like to experiment with other pups as many players claim there are even better options.

Another thing the guitar requiered was a professional setup and a bone nut. This isn't really expensive to do and also makes a huge difference. The stock nut is plastic and you will notice the sound change when you switch to bone!

Epiphone's site says the body of these guitars are mahogany/adler, so I thought I'd find some kind of multi-ply wood inside. To my surprize, when I opened her up to change the pups, I found what seems to be a solid chunk of mahogany wood with a slab of maple on top.
The finish is perfect from the factory. There isn't a blemish anywhere. The feel, look and sound of these guitars project high quality.

It's a solid guitar that balances out nicely

After the pup change, the bone nut and pro setup, I ended up with an OUTSTANDING instrument. I've been playing for about 8 months so I'm really a beginner but in that time, I've bought a number of guitars and I've learned from each. I now have a pretty solid idea of what works and what doesn't. Believe it or not, it's very difficult to buy a "terrible" guitar now a days. Even the low end instruments of major manufactures are built pretty well.

Taking that in to consideration, I'd say that Epiphone's Les Paul are one of the best guitars available for under $1000.

If you're a beginner and would like to buy a quality guitar without making a huge investment, this guitar is a great choice. It'll grow with you while your playing improves. Also as a beginner, I think you'll enjoy how easy to play it is, especially after a good setup. The neck is very nice.

Please don't think it's just a beginners guitar. In the right hands, this guitar will take off and many pros use it.

Another plus is Epiphone's customer service. While I've had no problems with my guitar, I did contact them to learn more about it and was amazed by the quality and speed of service.

One last thing I would recommend is that you play as many of these BEFORE you buy yours. I tried many of them out and they all felt, looked and sounded just a bit difference. Even the colors change quite a bit from model to model.

I think these Les Pauls offer quality way beyond their price. Even if you invest in new pups and a pro setup, you'll still be way ahead.

Advantages

-fast neck (if you use Ghs fast fret it improves fretboard)
-very good pickups(classic and hot alnico humbuckers0
-good quality materials (has a amazing flame maple top which resonates a great sound and a mahagony body and neck)
-good price (only 600 new any where from 350 to 420 used)
-nice paint job (the standard plus comes with a beautiful heritage sunburst finish which looks amazing with the flame maple top.)


As far as playability and sound this guitar is very good nothing to bad in that depart some minor quality problems but thats it.

There is only one thing that bugs me and that is some of the manufacturing errors (slightly uneven frets and some small paint problems depending on the guitar) This guitar is korean made so it is not checked over by a human so errors can occur i recomend going to your local shop or a in home guitar repairist and get it set up for a small price depending on where you go.

If your an intermediate player or a long time player looking for a good deal used or new this guitar is a good deal you get the look of a gibson for a much more affordable price and it has better materials then the regular epiphone les paul standard.

I bought this guitar at a music store where I was stationed. I paid about 600 dollars for this beauty. Since I first started playing, I fell in love with the Les Paul models. I love the look of them, and of course, the sound.

What's not to like? First of all, this is one beautiful axe! It has all chrome hardware, and is green with a flametop design. The pick guard and binding are an off-white, and it has a beautiful finish.

Second of all, and most importantly, is the sound. From back-woods southern rock, to blues, this guitar has a rich, thick sounds that sooths you at low tones and screams at high ones. But that's not all. If your in a heavy metal mood, its got chunk and hard rockin distortion that is unlike any other.

Basically, this guitar is the shit!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Excellent! Great construction. The only thing is the tuners are a little crappy, but those can be replaced easily.

Like I said, this axe is it! From looks to sound and quality! I love this guitar and would recommend this axe to anyone.

I came across the Les Paul Standard Plus while searching the Gibson website. I love the figured maple look, and to see it on a Les Paul, i had to have it. I searched for almost 8 months, making no progress, i couldn't even find anybody who knew what a standard plus was. Then finally I remembered a friend of mine worked at Carty's Music in Ypsilanti MI, he was kind enough to call his distributor and find out what the deal was. Finally! a Light burst standard plus was ordered $2186 later it was mine.

The figured maple is beautiful, i got very lucky with the top on mine. The finish is flawless, somebody definitely cared about puting this guitar together. The tone, do i even need to say anything. I've heard some people say that Les Pauls aren't all that versital, i beg to differ. There isn't a sound out there that I can't produce. And last but not least, the value and quality, this guitar could very easily last me the rest of my life, it is built to last, and if times are ever tough i could sell it for almost what i paid.

The weight takes some getting used to but it's not as bad as some Gibsons i've picked up. Also, the strap buttons are a bit weak for the guitar, i definitely suggest getting some kind of locking system, droping it probably won't do much the playability, but it could wreck the finish.

As i mentioned earlier, some body really took care in the construction of my guitar.
The volume knobs are missing some paint in the numbers and one of my tone knobs is a little stiff but thats it. I own a fine example of a Les Paul.

When one goes out shoping for a diamond, does one get what ever one can find, just so they finally have a diamond? NO!!! The same goes for guitars, i firmly believe this now I've had my guitar a little over 3 months now and I still shake my head in awe of how easy it is to play and how amazing it sounds. The Gibson les paul is a historical work of art. You will not find a better sounding, playing guitar, the sustain, the tone, the whole package is perfect. These guitar are a bit of an investment but its worth it. One thing i would like to add, the AA figured maple top isn't always very figured! I you are even slightly concerned about how figured and pretty your top will be, DO NOT order a guitar on line or from some catalog! I got very lucky with mine and had no obligation to buy it, but i know that I've seen some "so called" Standard PLUS that honestly looked like plain standards, so some poor tops are out there, keep that in mind.

very good, because with a change of pickups and an adjustment in the luthier (guitar total cost of 570 €) it happens to have tried a few, to a quality at least equivalent to the inputs of Gibson ranges which are sold 800 to 1100 €.

definitely because I bought a lot of good guitars (Epiphone Slah signature Ltd KH602) and meanwhile it is the only one I've kept because in the end I only play with it.

I bought this Epiphone Les Paul Standard Plus has lead guitars and a pigalle javou qu'ellle a thing.
I do not buy this coulleur but this is not the issue. this guitar is very easy to seduce and control many of the fan paul.meme if it is not working as a gibson United States it has a trs beautiful violin, well done. the handle is really great very easy to achieve the treble in less than 2 trs and is smooth. Finally, this guitar is great.

UTILIZATION

This guitar has an excellent easy to use and very easy to Magnes. Satisfesant trs weight is for a les paul, lesgibson its heavier, but a good gun leather strap Matelac nothing will prevent you from playing like Jimmy Page himself.

SOUNDS

The sound is not bad but it is better to change the pickups with Gibson, or the sound will come out a better quality and you will shake hands when they heard the big sound ROCK.cette guitar fits any style of music els rock, reggae, blues, etc. .. .... trs sound hot.

It's perfect at the mid puiske g kit Zakk Wylde I recomand those ki play metal, it's a dir EMG 85 and 81.

The handle is enjoyable trs, CHAC is the acute dlicat 22ime box for a les paul but you have to know what you want.
Ergonomics is agable but rather than sitting upright to play because it did not groove like that have US fender.

SOUNDS

The original sound is a rgale I find a good course I played on a Peavy Classic 30 amp a lamp and I must say that sustain trs is enjoyable. I think that in the future when I pass to Di Marzio pickups for a little over neighboring EHJV in the treble.
The clear sound is warm but not too dfois feel the diffrence be tween the position of double microphone set and the neck pickup position.
But it is a dtail.
