Jackson Fusion Pro

This is one of the higher quality Fusions that were offered during the run of the Professional Series. The guitar features a basswood body with a maple top, a maple neck, an ebony fretboard with binding, 24 extra jumbo frets, HSS configuration with direct mount pickups (ring for the bridge), sharkfin inlays, one volume, one tone and a five way switch.

UTILIZATION

The Fusion Pro was top notch out of all of these in the store. The frets were nicely crowned, but and they were properly leveled. The edges were beveled nice, so moving up and down the neck felt smooth. The neck joint was nice and tight, so no issues there. The floyd was actually replaced with a higher quality original floyd rose on this model, and I highly recommend this mod. This will improve tuning stability and overall tone. It also had a big brass block installed to enhance the sustain even more.

SOUNDS

This guitar had some replacement pickups in it, so I'll be going by those. It had a JB in the bridge with some classic stacks in the neck and middle. The JB in the bridge worked decently, but I prefer other pickups when it comes to this body wood. It could do pretty much any genre, however. The classic stacks were nice and powerful. You could get a very nice lead tone going on, and the split tones were pretty cool too. The guitar was fairly resonant overall, so no big deal there. Overall, the sound was above average from the other Fusions that I played.

OVERALL OPINION

If you're going to look for a Fusion from the Professional Series, this is really the one you should be looking at. It's the highest quality one that I know of off hand, and it was a real tone machine. It also looks killer.

UTILIZATION

The neck is very fast.
each access to acute is easy.
the guitar is well balanced and rather light.
it's a guitar with stunning sound possibilities.
the high pass filter can affect all the microphones.

SOUNDS

I have since 1994, but I have to part with it because of big money problems.

I bought it about 1500 to a bygone era
I play with a Brunetti XL 120 which allows me to have really warm sound.
This guitar sounds especially great on the neck position.
It can be used to make metal, funk, jazz rock, rock, etc. ....

OVERALL OPINION

-11 Years
- The Floyd ... because it is boring for tuning
- Ten, and Ibanez, of The ... nothing convincing
- Pretty good because it is a particular model.

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for 1 year

The negative points are:
=> The setting of his cot just a microphone, so when you do palm mute it down without wanting to sound

=> First tune lasts roughly 1 Journe (in the Floid)

Before that I had the false ibanez (less pleasant) and I have an epiphone tj "Gibson" that I keep in standard tuning, which is nice to play something other than metal.

I bought this guitar 300 euro cash converter in mind that the seller had made a mistake in the price. Very good buy in retrospect
