Marshall JCM900 50 Watt 2x12 Combo

The dual reverb is nice as well, but doesn't come through p.a. well. very impressive when paired with an older marshall 4x12 w/ greenbacks, more for looks than anything else...did most gigs w/o the cab. you can get a nice spanky sound from the clean channel, or drive it a bit more for a decent rythym sound.

clean channel doesnt clean up well without losing tone and a bit too much gain for my taste. i tried a bbe sonic maximizer and was pleased, but bought a les paul instead of an extra piece of outboard gear.
built like a tank!!!! this thing has been dropped, had p.a. cabs fall on it, been rained on, drank more than its fair share of beers, and always fires right up...overall good amp for the right deal...have since switched to marshall/mesa set up for cleaner tones, and a little extra punch for solos.
I prefer the 50 watt version so you can get a bit more from the tubes without killing evrybody. Good overall amp served me well for a lot of gigs with 0 problems!!!! The valvestate i traded in for it went down all the time. I would recommend this amp for all but the most serious tone freaks...well worth the money.

Effects loop and power rducteur (trs not effective at all) and reverb
To crunch or saturation of 'rock' is pretty clear but the sound leaves a lot DSIR and there must be full price for a saturated correct.
I connected to a closed hp marshall 4x12 "celestion and it shakes a lot more volume while disto ...
If c'tait again, I will therefore take the two bodies but think this is not the amp of my dreams ...
UTILIZATION
Simple to configure with channel equalization.
Manuel? What manual? not need manual.
SOUNDS
Top top not for clean sounds and distortion for Triqui (take 2 bodies, closing the box changes everything)....…

Jou with a Les Paul studio and a strat: better with the Les Paul
OVERALL OPINION
That's it, I sold it ... for better than worse.
I will not go that choice.
At the same price, turn to the classic Peavy or Fender.
It has 2 Celestion G12T-75 HP
It is 50W (gives a lot)
Connections rather simple footswitch imput and the front line and two output, two effects, and two impedances rducteur power for the rear face.
A clear channel and a channel saturated with reverb.
UTILIZATION
The rglages are simple and effective.
yes the sound is not hard out.
We do not need a manual.
SOUNDS
It should all styles.
Sre it with the grain of the lamps it is very well for the good old rock.

For the part I play guitar with a Aria Pro II ZZ Deluxe. (Not great but not too way ...)
For the part because I play with a GE-7 (gualiseur) of BOSS and a ZOOM 606 same as prcdement.
I get a lot of different sounds and Varis.
The sound of SANTANA, SATRIANI, METALLICA, ACDC etc ...
Sounds too dull ...
OVERALL OPINION
Trs little.
Obviously I like the grain on the other hand I do not like the weight of the BTE, but it takes at least a.
oui.Marshall transistors double and triple body and Fender twin reverb including lamps, Peavy, Applause ????? and many others
Excellent .....
YES YES YES YES ...
I tried this amp in the store there this year when a friend of mine was looking EQUIP YOURSELF
I tried this amp on a guitar Vigier Excalibur
UTILIZATION
Usage is rather simple being given the number of correct SETTINGS
SOUNDS
This is where it was stuck ...
the sound was clear through, it was nothing special in fact, neither ugly nor fabulous.
the lead sound, for against, was really horrible. It was like the sound of 10W amps really low end. at that time it has the look me and my friend and we wondered if it was not a joke ... We asked the seller if there was not something cass in because it was really horrible. And he answered, "but nah, you're crazy, c is the sound of Hendrix as you listen, c is the legend marshall ...". good recess, it was not bought the amp.
OVERALL OPINION
We try the amp barely 20 minutes. It was too unbearable. the salesman insisted pourqu'on continue, but he begged to fuck this amp the trash!
on the other hand as I said above, I suspect the model we try to have t failed. Or the amp is really the most miserable I've ever tried
