The 07/02/2006: Getting back after a little over a lot of testing of different synths:
1/The organ sounds ... hummmmm ... finally they are super good, it sounds really serious, leslie is set, it is started by giving a little help on the pitch wheel, and stopped in the same way. Puree it sounds bad, better than the XP-60, better than the Fantom, better than the old 01W, better than the PSR 2000 etc. .. yes I had all along there aencore little. I returned it and really happens. With 4 banks of 128 sounds were all over the place to put a lot of good sounds. The B3 ... the sound of church (tutti) pffff one would think!
2/The sounds of violins are excellent, especially solo.
3/Il are very good bass, lively and expressive.
4/THE pure synthetic sounds can be made through the MOSS TRI but in the end, it is more powerful in Roland.
5/Les layers are different from the standard 01W. As I currently 01WFD next to me now I know why people like these sheets. They are more voluptuous, more bewitching the 01W, the trinity is a little different on this, it is also very flat ground, but less fine, so the 01W is better on it.
5/Les guitar sounds are average. We must seek to find the excellent, but there are. But I can not play guitar on a keyboard.
OVERALL OPINION
I love this synth! This machine goes very well with other brands. Compared to Newt, the sounds are different. I find them cleaner on the trinity. There are plenty of sounds on the Internet. Compared to the Korg T3, although the sounds were reworked. The possibilities are enormous. Trinity really is a beautiful machine, it must be to appreciate the speed V3 of the screen. The screen is more indégniable because everything is clear. This version has 4 banks of ABCD 128 sounds each time. It's still 512 combi / prog 512, and the bank of 128 million tones (MOSS).
If we compare the K2000, the sounds are warmer, while the K2000 is drier. Deplus use is easier on the trinity.

I go back a bit on this machine after a lot of tests. The trinity has big advantages, the sounds are incredible. I regret a little weight over 15 kilos. I would like to test a little further with a triton in comparison.

I have a Triton, a TR-Rack and my Trinity.
So to start with two Triton arpeggiator that can run an automatic rhythm or bass. It is an asset, it's really good to run a drum set because the ideas come SPEED. But now, I'm not listening to the sounds fell. I stay on my trinity. However there is a downside. The TR-Rack is the presence expendeur be the trinity is incredible. He has an impressive set of sounds. You'd think they took the best of the trinity to design the TR-Rack. It sounds from home it sounds! Again there are four banks of 128 sounds. The buttons are small but the screen is Maousse and hyper visible.
To summarize:
3rd newt. The sounds have become soft.
The second trinity. A good keyboard, lots of sounds, a beautiful screen ...
The first TR-Rack. Pfffff it sounds!
-> Super keyboard.
-> Super screen, take a V3 for the best display speed of the series of trinity (V2 medium)
-> The pitch bend is better than the roland is a pleasure to 'bender' in lending a modulation at the same time.
-> The controller is small rubanda-top home top!. For example it can control the resonance filters expander is convenient and great! When you have the MOSS-TRI, you can control the filter with ... Hello effects!

UTILIZATION

Editing sounds is easy thanks to the big screen. Remember that the sequences are lost in the cut of the device.

The MIDI control is very easy and intuitive.
SOUNDS
Super! ground hot fat, very good guitars, basses thick strings excellent ... I love this device.
Good slicks are really good, it's a Korg. The bass is also very powerful, very good violins, even solo. The pianos are means, sounds pretty good bands, batteries OK, great tracks, the pan flutes terrible!
It lacks a few clicks and sounds clear.
There are plenty of sounds on the Internet.
MOSS synthesis is very interested, but I prefer my AN1x or JD990.
However, it has some really interesting sounds and I begin to really use it.
