the sequencer is something like a basic DAW on a computer i haven,t used it yet.Connections are midi, audio in etc.I,m finding it hard to get a memory cartridge that fits in the back.

UTILIZATION

I haven,t really got round to experimenting with this keyboard yet,i want to wait until i have the time to do so properly. This is the fifth high spec k/board i,ve owned, my experience with it on stage has been very good.Of course once i find out what it can really do,specially with the guitar mode,i will write a more in depth revue.

OVERALL OPINION

Roland in my opinion make very good instruments, this one is getting on a bit now but with the upgrade to version 3,the excellent harmoniser, guitar mode, that i have my opinion is still the same.I,ve tried many keyboards in the last 20 years from the first decent yamahas that came out then to the tyros, that i presently own, along with a BK5,psr1500,psr900.

Keyboard with multiple sound huge opportunity.
Very good feel, nice.
MIDI connectivity for some handy USB VST via a PC.

UTILIZATION

Quite complex to use, a reading of the book is important to understand the entire system.

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for 3 years now and I plan to sell it despite the "beast" that is!
However, the arranger is heavy to transport.
Too bad this does not have arranger Rhodes sound I like.

Arranger with a semi heavy touch (actually a light touch that allows for more expression) and aftertouch

UTILIZATION

very easy to use and very very full!

OVERALL OPINION

I had a G800 before for almost 20 years and then I bought the g70 3 months ago, with 11 piano SRX card and then slap! expressiveness, piano music, vocal effects that fits well with mine (voice) with a Shure beta58, this is really what I wanted.
