Antares Auto-Tune works without any problems on any platform.
The manual incorporated with the program is enough to get more than a basic understanding of the soft.
The setup is straight forward , easy , fast , shouldn't take more than a couple of minutes.
The typical functions are very easy to access , you have two choices , either the automatic or manual control.
SUITABILITY/PERFORMANCE
The software works as a top product , everything is stable , no bugs or delays encountered.
I'm getting awesome results while using its features and effects.
I've been using Auto-Tune for about 2 years.

I really like the two modes presented by Antares , the automatic mode which is faster , gets the job done , and the manual which takes more effort and knowledge.
The program recognizes different musical scales like minor , major , chromatic and other 26 sub-scales.
I like the retune speed button , which gives you control over the time when the program kicks in , that way , with a fast retune , you get that T-pain vocal effect.
The interface is also a pleasure to work with , very simple yet catchy and easy to understand.
A revelation in the music industry from my point of view is the throat modeling feature , which places the resonance in a different neck spot , this a very advanced possibility that wasn't even considered as possible in the past.
The vibrato and the expressive control is handled by the Graphical Mode.
Precision and quality of the sound is on a upper level , 10/10.
I've tried several models , until now , I haven't found any software that would even come close to this beauty , the simplicity of it , the design , the features , the retune speed , the pitch shifting , even the make notes feature is available.
Knowing what I know, I would make the same choice.

Easy to use , Love it.
Published on 02/22/13 at 08:37There weren't any kind of compatibility issues , the program worked really pro on any platform like Windows XP, Windows Seven or a MAC OS.
The book provided by the program was quite clear and I could understand the basic configuration of the program and its features.
General configuration and setup is fast and it doesn't require a lot of time and effort.
The typical functions are accessible and straight placed , you have two mods to choose from , either the manual or the automatic.
SUITABILITY/PERFORMANCE
The software works smooth and its stability is pro.

The software works smooth and its stability is pro.
Regarding the functions and the performances , I must mention that all the functions and features are working they way they supposed to.
I've been using Antares Auto Tune for a while now , it's been a couple of years since I found the features provided by Antares.
OVERALL OPINION
What I like most about it , is the speed , you can turn a decent vocal performance into a perfect one , you can draw some notes , you can edit the curves regarding vibrato , you can build nice harmony effects.
I like the dual interface mode also , you can just let the work do your work or you can tweak the pitch information yourself , both features has ups and downs.
My opinion about the value of the price is amazing , this program offers a lot of features at a decent price which makes the product quite fun and well spread.
Precision and quality of the sound is 10/10 , I haven't encountered any errors , mistakes or bad functioning of any of the features in both modes.
I've tried several pitch modulation tools , this is one that allows the creativity and freedom to combine in a very fun and easy way.
Knowing what I know , I would buy or at least try it , it's worth it , it works great , it's fast and its use is music wide.

Published on 05/09/12 at 00:06I have been using Antares Autotune 5 for a while now and I must it’s the best auto tune software. I was using a plug in called Gsnap before I found Autotune by Antares and I must say its way better than Gsnap. You will have full control over how you want it to autotune. Its very helpful when using a vocalist that’s having a hard time staying it in. But before using this you will have to have some general knowledge of scales and being in key. Other wise its useless or you can use it to get like the Tpain effect in your music which im not a fan of.

I run it in FL studio 9 and 10 and works great and hasn’t crashed or froze on me not a single time. You will need to watch a few tutorials to use it though because it is difficult to understand there are just so many different knobs to turn and they all do something different. I was very confused at first but after a few tutorial from Antares themselves on you tube I was find after that.
OVERALL OPINION
Overall, you wont find a better autotune program on the market to me it’s the best. The price of it seems like its high because its really just for tuning stuff. But it will make a lot of things easier for you if you are really having issues staying in key with the singer or you can even use it to find out what key the singer is in or an instrument or quick hit is in. Auto Tune by Antares is an award winning software that is used in major studios as well and its very affordable and you can have it on your home computer and make sure everything is in key. You will love it , I know I do.

Everything was pretty easy to get going for Antares Auto-Tune 5 on my system (Macbook Pro, 2.2 Ghz, 2 GB Ram). Of course you need an iLok to authorize the plug-in, but since I had previous experience with setting that up it was pretty easy. I really had no need to look at the manual.
SUITABILITY/PERFORMANCE
I run my Macbook Pro with Pro Tools LE 7.4 and a Digidesign 002 rack and Auto Tune works great with it. I haven't had any problems with running it except sometimes it slows down a bit when too much information is going on, but I guess that is to be expected.

I've owned Auto Tune 5 for about 10 months now but I had been using an earlier version for about a year and half before that. I love the interface of the software, both in graphical mode and in automatic it is easy to configure and to tune things up with. The sound is pretty smooth, along it really depends on the singer. If a vocal is relatively close this thing works great for just making it that much better. However, it can definitely sound computerish if you try to stretch its limitations on a poor singer. Although I have yet to use Melodyne, it seems some of their new products (Direct Note Access) may have Auto Tune beat at this point and when Melodyne releases their new software I may have to switch over to that simply because it has more features, although I'm sure Antares will have a response to it. Auto Tune is a bit pricey, but for me it is essential to have when working with clients. I will probably stick with this unless I try out Melodyne and decide to start using that.
