I borrowed this off a friend who bought it for about 163 bucks off ebay. It is a basic 25 key MIDI keyboard with 8 Knobs A pitch bend and modulation wheel and some other various buttons. This is a pretty average Midi keyboard, nothing special at all, velocity sensitive non weighted keys, USB connection with a MIDI out a 1/4" sustain pedal jack. There's really nothing special here, it works fine and performs well, but there isn't much use in a 25 key keyboard. I would recommend it if you can get it at a cut rate, but otherwise, meh. I'd say its worth it to save up and get something like the Axiom 25, 48 or 64.

UTILIZATION

Setup was plug in, select keyboard in preferences and play. Nothing special, everything worked as it should. Operation of the keyboard is real simple, and everything works the way you'd think it would. There's nothing wrong with this keyboard, and nothing special. It's an ok entry level keyboard, but certainly not the best by any means. I'd save my money though.

OVERALL OPINION

I'm very impartial to this keyboard, as it's nothing special in any way. The keys aren't that great, and would be better if they were weighted. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone, I'd say shell out a little more for the Axiom series, as it's well worth it. I do like the simplicity and the plug n playability of it though, and it works for small purposes I.E. a bass controller. It's hard to do much with only 25 keys other than audition sounds. It's pretty durable, dropped it a few times, no damage done, but it doesn't stay in place too well on the desktop. It's kinda cheap and flimsy. It's just not worth the cash when you could get something better.
