It is a very versatile semi-open cab, nothing to do with the series rectifier.C 'is closer in sound from a marshall. Me with the head lonestar I find it much warmer, a particular grain in overdrive was something interesting then it's purely subjective, it is best to try!
For me it's an amp that is really worth the specificity of a skyscraper .... you plug a gibson or a fender, you'll have not the same sound and you have something interesting .... after as it will always spend time to find a sound but the range is wide!
