I've owned this for a number of years, and use it primarily for testing these days as I have other controllers and keyboards for regular use. It's a fully USB class-compliant device, so it works out-of-the-box with Windows, MacOS, and iOS devices. Most iPads can even power it through the MIDI connection kit. There are no DIN or 3.5mm MIDI connectors -- it must be connected using USB. The USB port is a full-size USB-B connector. As mentioned, it can be powered over USB or with a separate power supply (not included). There is a 1/4" jack for a footswitch.
The keys have a nice solid feel, though they may be slightly noisy in some opinions. They send velocity data, but not aftertouch. The pitch and modulation wheels have a rubberized surface that feel smooth and solid. The button also have a rubbery texture, and feel solid. In all, it's very solidly built, and is surprisingly heavy considering its size and all-plastic construction. The plastic, though, is thick and solid.
