« A good keyboard functionality »

Value For Money :
Excellent
My choice was a 61-key keyboard, which included the MPD pads.
UTILIZATION
It is clear that at the touch of Akai (MPK of 49 to 61) is very specific to the brand.
It's a hit rather hard (not heavy shade), the keys back in place very quickly.
Better to try before you buy, because for me, touch does not suit me at all (which does not mean that it is unpleasant).
This keyboard is great for its features:
- The modulation wheels are superb and very good quality (this is the best I've had the opportunity to have).
- The pads are those of an MPD 24 or 32 ... I, however, a preference for Pads in NI Maschine.
- The faders and knobs are quite nice, even if there is no preset for Logic, it is still very easy to create'm even its preset.
OVERALL OPINION
Currently, I sold it to buy a smaller keyboard (Novation SL 25MkII) for synth sounds, and a keyboard key hammer (Studiologic VMK 161 Plus) which is the keyboard that has the best quality / price ratio for a heavy touch ...
If you can afford, and want a 88 key hammer keys with the same functionality as the MPK 61, take the Akai MPK 88 (which does not even touch his little brothers). This is the best of both worlds, and the investment is worth it, definitely!
