« A nice for a plethora of problems look ... »

Value For Money :
Excellent
I think it's made in China or Romania, finally a country or guitars are made in cheap.
It is a biscuit bridge, a piece of rosewood on a blank piece of wood (probably maple) all on a kind of cone scrap.
The handle is not well known how since it is painted matt black, rosewood fingerboard. The body is plywood ...! and it's hallucinating, but the violin was not of paramount importance as it is the cone that makes the sound of the beast.
Micro, mini humbucker format, although I suspect some kind of p90 seen his ability to catch the sounds of electric and telephone network.
Two settings, volume and tone, functional, nothing to say.
UTILIZATION
The handle is too far ...!
I do not even see the interest to fret at this level, even with an ultra shallow draft (which causes wrong notes from the 5th box because of the tension sleeve inréglable) was much action too high (more than a classical guitar, and yet he must go ...)
So for fans of slide, it does it well, but do not take mark on the frets for accuracy.
Access to acute is facilitated by the cutaway, but the string action to prevent this place really all right touch.
We have a sound a little cheap dobro, guitar pot is funny at first, but with high harmonics become bored (we seem to hear the same regardless of the note played harmonics).
Once connected, you can get that, depending on the amp, something vaguely usable, for my part, especially in slide with a little drive in the lower midrange.
And finally, this is a guitar that has a problem with pitch, it was nice to seek to resolve the latter, the lack of a good biscuit centimeter backwards to be fair to the 12th gutiare box (and beyond). Even with ropes extreme tension.
SOUNDS
I bought it as a folk guitar that could have a big volume, to play a bit of everything. Finally, it has a large volume and is comfortable on anything.
We have acute harmonics, always the same regardless of the note played that eventually become uncomfortable after the 2nd song ...
I enjoyed a little play slide on it, with a little drive in the lower midrange, but finally I made a telecaster for the slide, more comfortable in the treble and bass.
OVERALL OPINION
I used about 3 years, then I sold it.
I tried folk guitars, classical guitars, but this was my first dobro (since I tried Czech Resonator is not the same price but they are much more balanced, ring true, no harmonics pop and a more rich sound in the spectrum).
With experience, I have tried every note with a tuner not far and I will not have it purchased the grounds that it was false.
Quality level price, value for money, nonchalantly is a dobro work, it is more complicated to manufacture a guitar standard, and good for less than 1000 € I find difficult to have balanced dobro, and just makes you want to replay.
