To be honest, I planned on walking out with (if anything) something a lot cheaper. But when I saw it, played it, and found out it was on sale, I had to have it. I got it for about $500 new, because it's sparkly green and nobody else wanted it.
Aside from the sparkly green (believe it or not, I was actually looking for a green acoustic/electric), I'm in love with the sound of this guitar. It's got this beautiful, full tone, plugged or unplugged. The playability is fantastic, and the shallow body is nice for playing while standing up.
There is nothing about this guitar I don't like.
Nothing to complain about here. I like the round back. Of course, some people don't, but if you really didn't, you wouldn't be considering an Ovation in the first place.
This is an awesome guitar, especially for the price I got it for. As far as I'm concerned, you couldn't ask for a sweeter sound.
