Published on 01/13/13 at 04:30Electro-Acoustic 6 String made in Rising Sun
Case Type: Jumbo
Top: Solid Spruce
Back: Maple
Sides: Maple
Finish: Natural gloss (varnished)
Keys: Rosewood
Pre-amp: TK40
The handle is beautiful with the pearl, which is rare, it should be specified.
The finish is beautiful, but on mine, there is something strange on the table (in 2 parts) veins have the same direction but in opposite directions, so that, in the light part of the guitar air darker than the other ... and sometimes not seen ca ...
UTILIZATION
The handle:
The handle is bigger than a gibson Les Paul, it is varnished and very comfortable. it glides very well but I'm not sure it is suitable for solos but the original setting is something to be because the action is very high.
Fret-buttons:
A pleasure!
Form-weight
It is huge this guitar, and it imposes for me, gibson fan, it seems to me slightly.
Tuner.
SOUNDS
It is fitted with D'Addario EXP strings 12-53 (G string spun) and the strings are perfect for this guitar.
Sound
It is powerful, rich and out perpendicularly from the guitar, so whoever will listen hears better than playing. The sound is "rich" (it's hard to describe) the bass is a bit off but widely heard.
I tried a dozen guitars (ibanez, yamaha, ovation) in this price range and taka was better (to my taste, tested in a soundproof room 2m ²).
In electronics:
I have no amp electro so I've tested in-store
The pre-amp is a TK40. It includes a volume control, 3-band equalization (low, medium and high), EQ bypass, a Notch Filter (notch filter band), a tuner and a mid contour switch. The amp turns on when you insert a standard cable jack (mono 6.35) into the input jack of the guitar.
The EQ bypass is useful if you want to control your sound from a mixing console, or via effects modules. Notch Filter can, in turn, eliminate feedback problems on certain frequencies. Control "Mid Contour" is on the medium frequency (400Hz).
OVERALL OPINION
For me it is very good this guitar a pleasure to play on. this is probably not the best but for the price, I have nothing to complain about.
