UTILIZATION

Handle very nice with cut. It is quite short but 580 mm wide enough for a comfortable game (easier than Martin LX1).
The format recalls the APX but is designed for travel.
What is surprising is that it does not sound like a ukulele. Given the small size, the sound is pretty amazing, very clear and balanced. Obviously this lack of bass, but it is also a choice for the place and transport.

SOUNDS

One advantage is its pre-amp, very effective and convenient.

With a small amp travel, this is the perfect portable configuration. I added THR5A of the same brand (which also acts as a USB audio interface) and here I am out on the road and motorcycle ... Anyway very convenient.
I also use it with an AER Compact 60 or directly on the table ..

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for a few days and frankly this guitar is very well designed. When you think that Martin is LX1E 2.5x more expensive, just more efficient. I also owned one but I sold it because I was moving me.

I also tried a Cort, Washburn, Taylor but I prefer the small Yam, in relation to its size, quality and price. Remains to try the Tanglewood .. ?

Yamaha guitar will satisfy all travelers. The value for money is excellent.
