I like the blue LED power on indicators, hehe.

    Price paid

    300 pair

    SOUNDS

I needed some new monitors and did't have the bucks for what I really wanted so I got these. Great sound for the money!

    OVERALL OPINION

They seem to be built well and heavy enough.

I love them a lot considering what I paid for them.

Having them individually powered is great. Nothing missing.

    Price paid

    $350

    SOUNDS

I haven't noticed anything bad about them yet. I've heard better monitors, but i think its tough to beat their sound quality for the price.

    OVERALL OPINION

For a short time one of the monitors was making crackling noises. However, that has ceased. They work perfectly now. Neither I or Alesis was able to figure out what the problem was, but unless it starts up again it doesn't really matter.

Invaluable to my production and mixing.

Standard features for studio speakers. Each speaker is independently powered and has a volume control.

    Price paid

    $300

    SOUNDS

This being my first set of monitors, I can easily say it's the best I've ever heard. It uncanny how at just about any volume level, the sounds are well balanced. In the past I would mixdown, take to the car and listen for deficiencies in the mix, fix and repeat. I find I do that much less these days. I have even found that occasionally my mixes sound BETTER in the car on a stock system than through these monitors.

    OVERALL OPINION

Plug and play. I did need to purchase a Y cable to send my computer output directly to the speakers.

    Solid as a rock. …

Solid as a rock. I have blasted music through these things (intentionally and unintentionally and they continue to perform and sound great.

How can I not love my first set of monitors? I feel they have helped my mixes tremendously.

No features. Only the connections XLR and the volume knob in the rear. The future 620 will be included some EQ features, a lot of neccesary in this model because of the low frecuencies as I said before.

    Price paid: 333 euros

    SOUNDS

The sound quality is good, although it has a lot of bass, which fuck up the final mixer. I don't recommend these monitors because of this.

    OVERALL OPINION

    They seem be builded good.

I returned them back for some KRK monitors. So I not love them.
