Powered monitor speakers, small size and quality construction (connectors, housings)
SOUNDS
I use them mainly for mixes of acoustic instrumentals (strings, guitars, percussion) and voice, in a register close to the classic. In other words, the musicality and naturalness are sprépondérants character for me.
These speakers are particularly transparent, crystalline meet the transient. I succeeded with these speakers to hear a chair squeak of a musician on a recording of Symphony.
Without becoming tiring they highlight all the details (and flaws) of the sound and mix.
Attention, even though the bass is amazing on the speakers of this size, it is only 17cm from HP, not to forget during the mix

Reasonable budget, musical, quality, what more?
Eventually the subwoofer for music quite responsible, if any risk of making mistakes ...
