I have a korg d8 rare early model serial number 00155, and I had to powered monitor because it was far to the old method, the headphone!!

Dual speakers 5 are amplified pro practice figuration stereo left and right sound is very correct they are pretty straight, for the price
notice as I have already seen, do not say it's worse than genelec for serious ... they are less round;

OVERALL OPINION

I use them for a year, jai try Beringher, the Genelec subwoofer with bass and bose good this is not the same listening but the price either.

they are not too practical of adjustments we're off branches is not Beringher is not terrible in the same spirit but not Beringher.

there are pro pro 8 and 10 it is possible to make a system with 3.1 or 5.1 on the other hand if it fits in your budget this Paut be a pleasant option, although the bass!

I mix of prog metal and heavy metal

I use cubase studio 5 via a Presonus Firebox soundcard jack cable connected to 2 speakers without a subwoofer.

SOUNDS

The spectral balance for me, all the frequencies is very well rendered, no exaggeration of certain frequencies over others.
This is an excellent choice to start effectively mix

OVERALL OPINION

I have no experience hardware failure or loss of frequencies for 5 years and I do not "care to change or else spend on new Prodipe Ribon.

Speakers purchased to replace my yamaha is too bulky at the time and the event in front of the lower back does not suit me.

the only flaw is that "Plok" Ignition speaker when switche ON OFF button, be careful to consider their volume down before you turn them on or off!

The price / quality ratio is excellent, I heard talk of Ascending Prodipe and I confess to be very satisfied for the moment, I recommend for self amateur production.

I buy some subwoofer that literally transforms the sound of these speakers.

- As was my first monitors I was looking for a good compromise between quality and price and I came across a promo to 499 € so I jumped on it.

are perfect for beginners and would keep longer if I had not fallen on a super OCCAZ Focal SoloBe6! ...

- I use: my personal home studio enthusiast - 8à20h mix per week ...
- My config:
connected to the ass of my MOTU 828 MKII, with a laptop ACER AC CubaseV and does it well ... and never broke down or a fart power of weakness ... yet I played the guitar and bass destroy Placebo way above! ...

question musicianship they make the mix quite accurate, tend to strong presence in the bass, may be missing a tad of acute but is corrected with the volume pot behind ...

I was looking for speakers on AudioFanzine monitoring and my choices were the ones.
I am not a professional (but not at all), so technical issue well I can not say. Personally I like but if I was afraid for a speaker who sizzles but now works very well after just a removal of the rear. (???)

I chose them for their price, for beginners mao.Elles have a balance, and good power.
They are connected via a djm 300 is my sound card m-audio 24/96.
They also serve me back to mixed, and there like, a good sound.

Curve is fairly neutral on the whole, the stereo and also normal.

OVERALL OPINION

The Pro 5 for 2 years, but especially for multimedia use work my DJ sets (precision work of sound) and also to work on my own compositions with sounds of rock and metal. In each style there are ways to take advantage of the sounds of Pro 5.
The amplitude noise hp and a good performance for serious enable easy listening but there is a lack of precision in the overall sound spectrum. But we must not forget that these are monitors within 300 €!
In comparison with models from Yamaha HS 10, the main difference lies here. The sound is more "round" on the Yam, which are much more "dry" and "cold" but more specific.

I would do without this selection problem because the sound is good overall Prodipe, the overall accuracy as well, especially for this price (less than 300 €) whereby there is no competition.

These are my first monitor speakers. I was looking for a good value for money.

Ideal for beginners. I would still use them if I hadn't found a great deal for a pair of Focal SoloBe6...

- Application: my home studio (8 to 20 hours per week)

They show a lot of fidelity to the source signal. The low-frequency response is rather fat. I noticed a lack of high frequencies but you can always adjust the response controls on the rear.

Pro: front-port bass reflex system
Con: too powerful lows, lack of highs and high-mids (with all rear controls set to "0")
