The reasons for my choice are first the price, the relative strength and reliability reputation.
For use in home studio monitor (amazing is not it?) And mix of self-production.
Connected to a Line 6 UX2 in jack.
For this use, it made perfect both in power.
SOUNDS
I have little or no point of comparison with other monitoring speakers. As far as I distinguished, the stereo imaging is good, the sound is clear in almost the whole spectrum (except maybe the big bass below 50Hz) and sufficient power for a home studio medium ( 4 to 15m ²)
OVERALL OPINION
Used for 6 months, these speakers seem to me an excellent price / quality ratio for "amateurs" and to make self-generation in home studio. Obviously nothing to do with a pair of Genelec to € 8000 is all about budget as often.
I went directly to the stereo stage amp (marantz) + fi speakers (jamo) to monitor 40A Samson difficult to place these monitors in relation to competition. At first the sound seems to fade, you realize pretty quickly that it is in fact neutral and that's the goal. Transparency, clarity and neutrality. It pretty much sums up this pair of monitors affordable.
