I use since 2 years now a pair of MTB118a (active, 1500w) with a pair of FR112a (active 1000w + 500w) not as a DJ but 100% live music (5 musicians).
With over 30 years experience, I can tell you that I had the opportunity from providing on many systems, very good (and very expensive type D & B, Nexo ,...) and also worse ( kind .....)
I like the features in the combination and MTB118a FR112a are - 1) the bulk-power ratio. - 2) the depth of its sub MTB118a. - 3) the definition and clarity of FR112a. - 4) The scope of the system. - 5) the reliability and seriousness of the VAS.
For me, the value is good and I do not regret my choice. A sub bluffing to take into account and try before making his choice.
