Is the general configuration is simple?
The implementation is completely intuitive, plug and it works.

I use a card RME HDSP AES 32 (PCI card into a PC running Cubase). My only concern was the connection I've had to make myself my DB-25 cable because the cable no trade had the right pin. I found the pin in the manual of both elements.

Are the usual functions easily accessible?
The output monitor is perfect for my need, you can listen to the outputs or inputs or stereo (1 + 2, 3 + 4, 5 + 6 or 7 + 8) or mono mix (Input Mix one chooses or mixer outputs is chosen).

The meters of inputs and outputs are useful for managing levels.
