See the reviews previous ones, while t is, set by the external power supply of the console is in Class A, which accounts for the purity of its console.

UTILIZATION

Trs easy to use for an in-line console. It's so good even think Behringer copy the ergonomics of the Mackie for its consoles MX8000 (which has the same look and more) and MX 9000.
You feel immediately comfortable trs on this console, from the time when we are familiar with the concept in-line.

There are just a few things that could be amliors:
- Phase reverse per channel, it's really convenient, especially when you want a couple dmatricer MS
- A solo PFL
- The phantom power supply indpendante for each channel and not in groups of 8 channels
- And also a low mdium paramtrique and would rve

Anyway, overall is good, especially as the Mackie 8 bus is one of the all consoles Premire in-line price.

You can also highlight the prsence 2 amps of headphones (with the possibility to mix two DIFFERENT) and a talkback circuit. Besides we can increase the number of channels thanks to expander port.

SOUNDS

Here we are the furthest point intrescent.
How can sound a console priced incredibly infrieur a "real" in-line console for studio?
Well, really great.

While this is not the same level, but report quality / price is excellent.

I worked with heavy dj studio consoles (Amek BIG Soundtracks and Jade Nott), and the small Mackie is not so ridiculous as a console for a 20 to 40 times cheaper. I prfre the same Jade.

Compar a big Amek console style (which is pretty close to a Neve Neve ratchet that this mark), the EQ on the Mackie are not as good as sharp and as effective. But even when they are really great, trs musical. You can really change the sound of our tracks. It is very easy to get a bass drum sound slap in the Pantera, even starting from a base its not super pchu. You can really reshape the original sound. In short, I love. Too bad there is not a paramtrique per second. Anyway, the only work there trs well.
In addition, the EQ can really make a snapping snare, dig a guitar, a voice clear up ... Gnial, but not the most effective and dramatic music.

Otherwise, the overall sound of the console is in line with the Mackie analog: a clear, clean and trspchu. APRS is a matter of got: Personally I love.

Note that I want is good sr account the price of the console, you can imagine, it's not a Neve or SSL.

OVERALL OPINION

Trs satisfied. It's a really gniale console. It always happens to the sound you want. I love it (especially the EQ).

It has nothing to do with copies of Behringer.

The finish is nickel, it's solid, faders and buttons are handled well, not too soft (style Soundcraft), nor too hard. In short, gnial.

Too bad the band VU nitre option is also expensive, and is optional and not just SERIES.

But otherwise, trs satisfied with this console that sounds not so far that has a "real" studio console. Evidence, it uses t for production of pro s'tant album sold over a million copies. Queensrche, Megadeth, Damageplan, Malmsteen, ... and so on are used.
