UTILIZATION

The use is easy if you already know the basics of subtractive synthesis and FM synthesis. Editing sounds is quick and simple, the main parameters are accessible from the front panel. Ergonomics is rather well thought out and the interface is clear. on the other hand, for those just starting, you must provide the coffee and bottle of aspirin at hand, the evening will be long!

SOUNDS

The factory presets can get a first idea of the capabilities of the machine and cover most styles of music. It was not until this synth programming that we see the full potential of its architecture. The effects are well made (except reverb) and the modulation matrix is fairly comprehensive, it is enough to make things very nice, whether in music or in sound design. The grain is rather nice, quite present in high frequencies. It's a synth on which we must dwell a little tweaking to really sound.

I find that sweeping the filter cutoff frequency lacks a little finesse and musicality (not type, eh! And then I can still do not find her as grades).

The updated OS 2.0 brings several new and quite a few new presets.

OVERALL OPINION

Excellent machine architecture quite successful and very good ergonomics. This is a machine that has a place in my septup, it has not blush alongside my other machines. All have their qualities (and defects). I do not regret this purchase.

The bad thing is the supernova in Table II Pro X, the plastic aspect of all. An effort could be made on a machine that was sold between € 3,000 and € 3,500 when it was released.
