The CHARACTERISTICS are more basic but some points need your attention:
- No digital control components, 100% of the old analog
- No preset and MIDI implmentation summary (VLOC aftertouch via MIDI CC and PWM)
- Certain rglages are accessible only by Midi CC (portamento mode, PWM ...)
- No of audio
- Compatible with Doepfer modular type (via the extension Modular Dock)
- Only 3 wave for the LFO
- Hand of trs good qualitbr /> - Asked by taste but I find visually stunning!

UTILIZATION

Trs intuitive we took over in minutes. The twelve o'clock limitations can be teachers, but the CASC direct any custom settings make it a tool for live IDAL. The configuration of the two VCO is particulire, trs closer to a Moog Rogue, the first VCO is more like a sub so I'm going sync and FM. The knobs allow rglages trs end and are really enjoyable utiliss, no make up, break value, etc.. The ergonomics are well thought trs breakdown of CONTRL is correct and provides an enjoyable use.

SOUNDS

The sound is rtro DEFINITIONS, still round and warm, mushy but prcis trs. The oscillators are trs thick and more consistent than its competitors today (Mopho, Dark Energy, Slim Phatty ...). I love the Triangle waveform, perfect for the sounds-like drone.
The filter is trs musical sounds and once again it dmarque of its competitors, not by saturation of the filter by the VCO, so its a pure trs. The self oscillation can be pushed away trs. What hast marked with the lancet, is its ability to produce sounds like Mini, TB or HS in moments. It is trs versatile in sound possibilities.
Overall I would say it sounds of thunder, as it DEFINITIONS one of its own characters and the type of sound that only a vintage gnre with a rival him.

OVERALL OPINION

What I like in the Lancet:
- Fast Fashion instantaneous music, beautiful sounds have get it in minutes
- The opening to the world modular extension with Modular-Dock
- Ergonomics trs well think for a machine of this size
- The quality of manufacture irrprochable
- The look trsrtro:)
What I like least:
- Some functions are only available through MIDI CC Modular and expansion-dock adds another cost supplmentaire
- The limits of the waveform LFO (no sawtooth and square trs not useful for me)
- The MIDI implmentation rev limit
- The price of a can is BCAN levbr /> In the end:
- If you are looking for modern sounds, a significant possibility of modulation and expression, have a Dark-Energy, a Mopho, or MBF.
- If you are looking for sounds that sounds like rtro ever, the simplicity of use, high potential for live and build quality high-level, it is the Mono Lancet that overwhelm you.
I do not regret my purchase, I think investing in the Modular-Dock and Retroverb Lancet, history of going after the concept:)
