Dave Smith will launch at the end of the month a special edition of his Mopho analog synth with keyboard.
The Mopho SE offers the same specifications as the original Mopho, but upon user request, DSI has equipped it with 44 standard semi-weighted keys, velocity sensitive and supporting aftertouch.
Also new on this model, the knobs are similar to those on the Prophet 12 and the serigraphy is now directly printed on the metal front (wooden sides).
Just like the original Mopho, the polyphony on this SE version can be expanded by linking the keyboard to a Tetra or another Mopho synth.
The Mopho SE will be available at the end of October for a US price of $949. See davesmithinstruments.com for full details.
