It is a beautiful analog synth Moog (certainemen one of the most beautiful design of the brand my taste)
3 Octaves with two buttons on keyboards transposition. Noon but no one from CV / Gate and an output to control another computer from the keyboard or sequencer / arpeggiator.
It is totalemen analog sound with two VCO (tri / square-imp / sawtooth) with sync (there is not the mini) and modulation of the VCO 2 by the wheel in this mod. The VCO to stabilize after at least 5 minutes when it's cold so if you try one and that it does not have the agreement of the dpart is normal, it is atendre. After it remains stable.
There is also an LFO with the clock running is also used by the arpeggiator and sequencer.
UTILIZATION
The Source is great in the sense that there are no pots, but a very high-end dial (Optical therefore almost indestructible) to a clean and beautiful precision (means no bearings mounted on a cutoff), in addition it is allowing ballast to start and finish of the towers less alone with inertia. ergonomics of the machine is great, simple and more logical than other machines of the brand.
The LFO atein an impressive speed and allows for the simple FM (on the cut off, the VCO or both).
envlop the ADSR are true and not a lot of ads like monophonic or brand of the time.
The top is the mmorisation the patch which is not common in mono (16 memory but can not stok of K7 is a known problem apparamen).
SOUNDS
This is the Moog, the true, hardcore, dynamic and powerful! It quasimen the sound of a mini with a VCO and less on the same settings, it distinguishes difficilemen a Minimoog (which is not true of all small mono Moog). Too bad the LFO is not assignable to the PWM (which is only 10 I do not put in because CATEGORY 2VCO is a sacred machine).
OVERALL OPINION
I have been using quite a few years and it allows for much of the sounds for which musicians buy a Minimoog and for less than half the dimension of a Mini.
