PPG-100 is a modular synthesizer cr in the mid 1970s by founder Wolfgang Palm of PPG (Palm Products GmbH). It is the first synthesizer manufactured by PPG and ... it feels. It's more like a prototype that a production machine. It must be said that very few copies were sold t (a dozen may be!).

UTILIZATION

It contains the basic configuration for a classic modular this era.
A bank of 3 VCOs, a VCF (fawn Minimoog filter), 2 EG, VCA, 2 mixers, a squenceur
Everything is programmed with the old cord jacks.

SOUNDS

The sound is excellent, organic desire. The real analog sound of Moog.
It is ideal for making music and style Berlin School fans of Tangerine Dream 1972-1979 era will be delighted. It can, like any other modular be put to use all styles of music.

OVERALL OPINION

Report qualitprix: if one relies on electronic The characteristics it is too expensive. Whereas if one aspect pice of collection (very rare machine) then the price is better justified.

So if it's the only music that motivates you then buy something else.
If it's for nostalgia and as you can afford ($$$$) then do what you enjoy.
