Dave Smith announces the Prophet 6 synth will include presets from the Prophet 5

The sounds of the Prophet 5 into the Prophet 6

A few days after announcing that he started shipping his Prophet 6, Dave Smith says that the synth will include sounds from the previous version.

Sound designer and original product specialist at Sequential Circuits, John Bowen (he created part of the sounds and sequences for the Prophet 5, Prophet 10, Prophet T-8, Prophet VS, as well as Moog, Yamaha, Korg, Creamware instruments and his company, Zarg Music), is back on duty and recreated the original sound set from the Prophet 5.

Presets 411–458 on the Prophet 6 will correspond to the presets 1–1 to 5–8 on the Prophet 5.
