Value For Money : Excellent
I have a 2ghz core2duo imac 17 "with 2GB of ram.
I use it for a year.
I truly love the speed of startup and standby, stability, efficiency and ergonomics well thought of the bone, multitasking very well managed, the quality of the screen, the silence of operation, portability for a desktop computer (all in one), the computer processing power has never been in default, the integrated WiFi and Bluetooth, the silence of functioning processors fully loaded, the applications provided in the following ilife that can do work fine for a very unprofessional, very decent quality of input and audio output, built-in speakers of satisfactory quality, and design as ... Relocation of the bone extremely simple, without having to register the license (serial number of the machine is sufficient). A mac is os + machine together. good for us possessurs happy, too bad for the others ...

I do not like the appearance of closed formats, the fact that when you want extra features out there fault the card. Exemble, 1GB more RAM: 150 € in the pear ...
Same for the little app where you have to pay (QT pro, divx codec: it is a scandal!)

But looking around there are plenty of free apps that do the same thing ... There are plenty of freeware that work on mac thunder: vlc is a treat, toolplayer, a small player that has a function of real time needed to timestretch transplanting fast passages of a song, even if it is not super quality. D-vision: THE ULTIMATE divx encoder: easy, fast, high quality movies, lots of built-in functions ... In short, even the freeware is very neat in the spirit of the bone.

This is my first computer, I invested because my professors in college mao had advised me and some friends had come under mac and did not stop to praise.
My parents who rowed with XP start-up and use me determined to not have windows.

So I broke my piggy bank (€ 1,400), but no regrets, it's reliable and solid, I have for a long time. I swim in happiness. Quality / price ratio Ok, so it's expensive, but it's really good material and lasting pleasure every day.

I do it again this election, yes yes yes! When I bought it they were passed to the core2duo, and the screen was still dull (no glass), I prefer. So the computer is ideal for me.

In addition you can always install XP or Vista, but I have no use. on the other hand I installed ubuntu in dual boot to take advantage of additional features by spending € 0. More with linux can deepen his knowledge in computer science. And it works really well, hope it's customizable (perhaps too much for some?), No virus either. Well, it's not as polished as OSX, but that's another philosophy: the incomparable diversity of programs, they are free and opportunities to improve yourself for the good of the whole community is great either! In addition to this advance by leaps and bounds right now!

Okay, so if you have under: osx, though, the best!
If you have it: recycle your pc with linux!
