A priori super technical, especially coupled with a shortboard pedal type, there's everything you need. Right, they could have done a 1U rack, it's a little weird to live a pod 2 times more ... Another thing is that there are only three effects processors simultaneously, sometimes it's a bit short when we look for the good hack (especially since the shortboard, there's four switches for departures at the foot of effects, including two that serve the same purpose, but nothing for the clutch eq: ???). It also lacks a loop for external effects send / return (but hey, cf. Below, as they already have problems with preamp and scanning, it may as well not to multiply the damage not 2).

UTILIZATION

Use no more complicated than any other digital multi-effects, further simplified with the publishers PC. There all good.

SOUND QUALITY

A priori effects but some variables as beads (including distortion), a priori simulation amp not bad at all, a priori simulation bof HP as "microphones" all seem to sound just so 60's, was difficult to get a report today. Anyway ... I say all this "a priori" because I agree with previous opinions: the preamp and / or scanning are fairly mediocre, it's food frequencies and dynamics, we feel even and by removing all the settings flat , not found his instrument well enough to have the desire. I can not really properly judge what happens after (effects, etc. simultaneously).

Interest tip: use a little tweaking for recording or headphones to work by not disturb the little family, but do not expect much that pulls her super, live, either before the the amp or insert, you lose too much, it's not playable when you start to have hacked his sound with some good stuff, it becomes annoying ... Consequence: I sold my shortboard and I refile the pod to my kind friend who had lent me, she may be able to sell it outright.

I tried the new Zoom few months ago, the effects are generally better at Line6, but the sound was coming it seems to me to remain as clear and fair review of the Zoom. Nothing either of them for me so ...

OVERALL OPINION

Used for 5 months, many (really) because tampered my expectations of good, nothing that happened to me like it since the expressiveness and the grain go too significant even for my level yet not so high amateur bass player. It's a shame, I think that with minimal extra effort on the quality of the preamp and digitization, line6 was a great thing: it's tough, full of good ideas, coupled with a shortboard that would make a ultimate and practical solution for a reasonable price yet, but it's definitely too much food as is the sound of the instrument. Disappointed, yet God knows I wanted to say good ...
