It's my first compressor. It's rather nice and easy to use. The sound doesn't really convince me, and I don't think this pedal will be a great match with every bass guitar. So try it before making any decisions and buy it if you like sweet but present compression like me.
Edit after 3 years: This pedal is bullshit. The compression effect isn't effective and if you really want to limit the dynamics... you'll generate noise. It's the same thing with the EQ: High settings will give an irritating sound! After all I'm not surprised that this product is discontinued.
