We are dealing here with a Tube Screamer derivative adapted to the low (normal, we are Maxon home in the 80's).
The format of the case is the same as the effects produced by Fender Maxon at that time.
Connectivity is basic level, In, Out and barrel type 9v Boss.
Drive Settings, Tone, Depth and level
For access to the battery, nothing could be easier, since it is a trap with a catch without tools.
Nothing to say, it's tough, well thought out.
Note: At the time he put in three languages (English, French and Japanese) the board use to conserve battery on a sticker glued to the aluminum pedal ass, but the time for AF not y'avait whether it was normal that the battery lasts a week ...
UTILIZATION
Well, as usual, an effects pedal, as long as the knobs are effective (and in this case), it's easy to adjust as you sharpen a few ears.
SOUND QUALITY
So here my lambs, I unearthed a little gem, I'm normally more of a follower of the Big Muff for bass, but hey, must recognize that it goes everywhere. In this case for my group of large rock motorheadien, it stuck at all, then I came across this on Ebay OD, cheap (live Japan), in good condition, with a crest known yavépluka
We thus find the intricacies of the TS, it will boost the big game tranquillou OD wild and very slightly fuzzy (just enough).
The bass does not drown in the mix (and it is relatively hard to handle most of the time), we keep a very nice dynamic, a grain and a deliciously warm 80's
OVERALL OPINION
They say it's in the old pots that made the soup, I know, but at least it was with the old stuff that makes the best rock n 'roll.
If you come across one, I suggest you try it, there's likely to be adopted
