Hybrid head lamp 12AX7 preamp / amp Mosfet Class AB, good power for the size and a more traditional class D.
HP Speakon output, FX loop and the input ... It exudes experience and versatility.

UTILIZATION

Equa SP + 3-band bass / treble, switchable compressor, it makes a lot of possible settings, really takes a lot of ill will to not find her ... Otherwise, everything is flat as well.

SOUNDS

It sounds like an amp EDEN, there are some who do not like, I love it!

OVERALL OPINION

I had the 300, the 400 and 550 in the space of almost 20 years. No fundamental differences between these heads. I have always been praised for my sound, the amp is not everything but it helps ...
Practical, powerful, compact, I have never been in default in these contexts are few heads, just need the right forum.
Today I play on an old Alembic F2B preamp 35, it sounds alone and feels the lamp, I love it!

One regret about The elements included with the amp: there is no manual attached (you have to go on the website of David Eden to find it in English ...)

UTILIZATION

The configuration can not be easy because everything is just what to do. It's a matter of 5 minutes to understand it. APRS, if you want a sound prcis is always a little longer.

Sound, there's really nothing wrong ... For a clear, round and prcis, there is that the legalization to 0 and play the lgrement potentiomtre the enhancer. Must prciser the equalizer is daunting when those corrections ... Finally an equalizer that produces something REALLY effective for ds that can "tickle" a button ...

SOUNDS

This amp is perfect my style of music: blues, rock, funk, reggae, jazz, fusion ...

I use my amp with my Yamaha TRB-6 and the cabin D410-XLT (into 8 ohms) also David Eden. I also rises in line with my effects loop pdalier Bass PODxt Live Line 6.

The receiver knows trs naturally give a warm round and a clear sound. It was almost like a system that amplification Hi-Fi ..

For now I have not found dtest sound (may be I see her again this ultrieurement). I notament its dynamics, its Linares frquences amplification, the range frequency drives keys which gives a clear and Submitted trs.

OVERALL OPINION

I use this amp for a short time (I would therefore be an APRS complment several months of intensive use)

What j'apprcie most: simplicity and efficiency of the amplifier shows a manufacturer dmarche going to the simplicity to the delight of its users and that most expected any musician using an amp: the sound.

What j'apprcie the least: its price, but actually, this level of the end nothing is left of cot in the quality of the amp itself.

I tried an earlier 10aine amp (Ampeg, SWR, EBS, etc.). But nothing has given the equivalent of what I have today.

I think the price quality ratio is a little too lev even if the device itself is irrprochable.

With hindsight I, I can not speculate on the certainty of my choice, however, through testing I've done on the new amp, there have no regrets .

Another small regret is that by buying the whole (head + cab), I did not have cable connection provides HP. That same damage when given the price of the amp and the cab.

UTILIZATION

Easy to use, the sound is good if you want a faithful amplification but with a beautiful natural heat, and the head has probably one of the best eq in the market, the integrated compressor is not insane, for against, big problem of reliability and customer service Europe (see below) ...

SOUNDS

Very good sound, high fidelity, especially with the contour that is the trademark of Eden, do not expect big drive (do not wait to drive at all in fact), the sound is both very right and defined but also provides a voltage and a velvety, with a good margin of dynamic equalization is really excellent and allows her to adapt its ineffective and possibly even to add a good big distortion and then all possible effects, it goes really well: The sound is pro - which is not true of everything in this boiboîte (see below) ...

OVERALL OPINION

Thumbs down for reliability on top of that price and the SAV Europe (USA Import Music in the Netherlands, in case things change - fortunately the U.S. international service is more pro and even if they do not have the seem to know so much what happens here, it has to unravel a little thing, but what a pain!): rapid failures, lies, incredible time ... In the end I even relented to pay the postage to return them to me, I was really tired. In my wanderings for repair (at last to use it!), I also contacted former France importer who told me he had abandoned the brand because of too many customer service issues, particularly models of World Tour, which is due "to a fully electronic design dated in the negative sense" and even "made out of all logical" (sic) the guy looked good back against the mark also ! In short, not good at all.

That said, seeking to sound more faithful with the little lamp, a great convenience, it's still good music cam ... for a short fall on a model lucky! But for me, Eden, it's over, I'll find my paradise elsewhere.
