OVERALL OPINION
I am writing this review in response to certain passages in the opinion of Mouloud.
A: all the amps I tested when the gain is up the volume increase is normal. And when the gain is lowered the volume decreases, it is normal too.
Two: to have a clear sound not need to lower the gain. You have to play on the knob that adjusts the mixture between the lamp and the transistors. It is for this and does it well. We can therefore put a lot of gain and have a clear sound, simply turn the knob e "mix" at the bottom of the side "solid state".
Three: I can not allow that this header is not powerful. It is unimaginable. Plugged into an Ampeg 6x10 into 4 ohms I can assure everyone that the little mark tube laaargement enough power. Even outdoors.
Four: This amp is suitable for metal. As for rock,, reggae blues, slap, ...
Five: warwick is a special that's true. I do not know the double-buck but I have a standard corvette and I found there the sound described by Mouloud. I also have another one between musicman saber and the like "its special" it arises there. Well I do not have a problem with my bass and little mark tube.
