AMPEG BA 115 100W amplifier transistor 1 HP 15 "and tweeter
6.35 standard jack connector
medium volume treble bass master 2-15dB and 0dB inputs + 2 RCA inputs for coupling an mp3 (!) XLR DI output (useful but whose output level is adjustable so that the master not great) and and and ...... and a knob equalizer with five possible choices (in my opinion this amp Failure)
The ergonomic shape of the amp that can put it back on the other hand is well thought
the amp is beefy and weighs his weight (a big thirty kilos)

UTILIZATION

The config is not on-plus-may-simple, we transplanted one plays and that's all good!!
get a good sound with this amp is easy, (it depends also on the power to which we play and local)
In all, some necessary adjustments, real plug and play!

SOUNDS

For style rock, pop / rock, this amp should.
The BA115 is geared for repeat and small clubs, not the stage or outdoors (for playing an svt-classic and a 8X10, there is obviously no comparison!) Transplanted it, it is difficult to obtain on a scene its a "no fat"
Apart from the equalizer, his second failure is the breath of the tweeter which is a real horror
I play with a fender p-bass US s1, the sound is far below compared to a 300w Ashdown 4X10, the bowl 15 "does not hold water when compared in terms of clarity
the "styles" of equalization are inaudible due to wind generated tweeter

OVERALL OPINION

I own this amp for 4 years now
The pros: ease of setting, the ergonomics, power, size, sound ampeg
the -: equalizer, a single bowl 15 ", the DI, the tweeter
before, I played on a marshall 200w so there is no comparison
at the time I had bought the lille for 800euros, which is expensive compared to what is now
with experience, I would not have taken n this model, but a model with two bowl 12 "
and if I had of buying another amp, it would have the Ashdown 300W
