Value For Money : Excellent
(Originally written by altaircreed68/translated from Audiofanzine FR)
200-watt solid-state amp with jack input, phones output, footswitch connector and a 200 watt speaker output (4 ohms min.).

Settings: few controls!

UTILIZATION

You'll need time to find THE sound but once you've found it, it's a delight.

Good sound. It ranges from big and fat to cold and twangy. I can't get a good jazz or blues sound but I don't play the right bass for that... I have a heavy metal bass, not a Jazz Bass.

No user's manual.

SOUNDS

This amp is perfect for my music style (heavy metal).

I use it with a Harley Benton bass and (soon!) with a 5-string Warwick Vampyre (if I my budget allows it).

I can get a fat sound cutting the mids and boosting the lows, or a crystal-clear sound doing the opposite.

I love very fat sounds.

Unfortunately the amp is not totally noiseless.

I already have my Warwick. In the end I bought a Corvette instead of the Vampyre (also very good). The sound is really great but I will change the amp because it's a product for beginners. I will replace it with a Genz Benz amp head. Nevertheless, test it if you're on a tight budget because it's a good amp considering its price!

OVERALL OPINION

I've been using it for about one month. I like its high output power and fat sound.

I previously had a Harley Benton HB-20 and they are not comparable... The only annoying thing if the noise. The output power/price ratio is great.

Unbeatable value for money.

I wouldn't hesitate to buy it again.

I give it a 9 because of the noise.

It sounds almost as good as the Hartke of a friend of mine, which is four times more expensive.
