165 W bass kickback combo
Speaker 15 "Celestion
A switchable tweeter
2 inputs (active / passive)
4-band EQ with 2 parametric mids
Compressor
Limiter
Control: Enhance, Effects loop, headphone jack, DI output (post EQ) XLR, tuner output, external speaker out (8 ohms)
UTILIZATION
Pretty simple to use. A lot of sound settings, but it is not that easy to find a killer sound, according to one's usual idea of a "killer sound". The kickback design isn't bad to carry sound towards the drummer, but half the time it would be nicer if that big cube was smaller.
SOUNDS
The large 15" speaker get's the job done and puts out loads of lows. It's good if you want to do something like dub / reggae or simply if you're going for the old school sound. But for the more aggressive sounds, IT doesn't quite measure up. The tweeter isn't great (it accents frequencies that are not necessarily desirable ...).
OVERALL OPINION
An ok Amp, powerful enough for band practice but for my taste, it lacks versatility of sound . If I could, I would go for something with a 4x10 speaker configuration instead of a 1x15.
