«  Very versatile amp »

Published on 04/26/11 at 02:49
Preamp / amp transistors.
250 W
15 inches
7-band equalizer
integrated compressor (very nice)
DI XLR output (pre / post)
mute button (very useful in concert)
effects loop
Tuner

in short, everything one expects from a normal amp ...

UTILIZATION

extrèmemnt simple.
Having a meter on the preamp (input) shows the "potato" on offense, so as the sound you search, you must play with the VU meter.
then we can (or not) through the égualisation (extremely effective).
then send (or not) the compressor.
and it ends with the master to explode (or not) the ears of his friends.

it reads from left to right, it's very simple.

played only with a Squier Precision bass (Seymour Duncan pickups and all electronics changed).

amp at home in the mids and highs, perfect for funky grooves, or grooves slapper.
magnificent pick if you like to hear the pick attack.

compressor set at noon is excellent.

recommended for the reggae style or style requiring a heavy bass underwater.

SOUNDS

there is no "THE SOUND" but "THE SOUNDS".

you can do everything, amp very dynamic and responsive, on the other hand sometimes missing the big heavy "sub".

So I plug in the sound by cutting all the mids and treble to get the heaviness.

currently used in training cover of Pink Floyd.

OVERALL OPINION

I for one year.

it is a very good amp snooze. strong enough. ear buddies.

for live, like a small room or bar, make sure to dub in the sound (if there a. ..) to gain roundness and consistency with the rest of the group.

tate I still tried to change as the basic black SWR and I love the curves of old tube amps.
