Value For Money :
Excellent
Mesa Engineering is a cabinet with 4 HP 12 "plus tweeter with three adjustable frequencies (3k, 4k, 5k) + fuse + volume control.
The spectrum is huge, the sound is neutral without being cold.
- What characteristics have motivated your choice?
The config 4x12 "vertical gives more punch than a 2x15" and more bass than a 4x10 "is in my opinion the best config.
- For what purpose?
I rock and metal but this cabinet is happening everywhere.
- What amp / What configuration?
I use it with a head Mesa / Boogie Basis M-2000 plugged directly into the baffle
SOUNDS
- The frequency curve is sufficiently neutral?
I think I have the ear fairly neutral to say yes, and even that is close to the stereo.
- The stereo image is good?
mono speaker, but the distribution of the sound is awesome!
- The sound is clear and precise on the spectrum?
A BIG YES
- The dynamics are respected? ...
Of course!
OVERALL OPINION
- How long have you use it?
Soon, 1 month.
- What is so special that you like most and least?
Plus: The incredible build quality, handles transport across the corners (it's too TOP), weight 60kgs 50kgs cons for my 4x10 Mesa / Boogie, sound, the mouth of course!
The least: The breath of the tweeter, the protective cover Mesa too thin.
- Have you tried many other models before buying it?
Yes, Ampeg, Trace Elliot, SWR, Hartke, MarkBass, GallienKrueger, GenzBenz.
We are far from all that stuff home with Mesa
- How would you rate the quality / price?
Good quality / price ratio because the speaker can withstand WWIII without a problem.
And compared to Glokenlang offering the 4x10 "at the same price!
- With experience, you do again this choice? ...
Of course, so I stay at home and especially for my stuff MESA amplification.
