Multi-effect pedal digital bass with compressor, amp simulations, rhythm patterns, a tuner, headphones, USB connection (registration), the ability of DI box with XLR output and ground switch, adjustable pedal. All delivered with Cubase LE4.


UTILIZATION

The configuration is simple and easily editable. The manual is comprehensive and well presented.


SOUND QUALITY

Compression is effective. The effects are uneven in quality from very good to very average. As always in this type of pedals, distortion-type effects are not very compelling. For cons, the tremolo, the autowah, chorus or octave, for example, are perfectly OK for me.

The amp simulations are moderate, but useful.


OVERALL OPINION

I use it for 3 months or so. I have not had the opportunity to try other multi-effects pedals for bass before.

I use it as qu'hobbyiste in home studio, as DI Box at the end of effects chain, before entering the mixing desk. Which mean that I use with both electric guitar, folk guitar electro-acoustic and electric bass.

My effect chain has various distortion pedals that fill gaps in the zoom, and ends just before the zoom drum machine Boss DR 880, which itself includes presets amp / effect for electric guitars, basses electrical and electro-acoustic.

So I use the Zoom Box DI finals, with its own effects capabilities.

And as such, it particularly useful to me, among others also as a volume pedal, complementary effects, EQ final. I also use it as a tuner in alternation with the Boss DR 880 that also.
I was initially negative about Zoom, who had their multi-effects pedal 504II for electro-acoustic which I believe, is not adequate to properly play in groups.

But with the B2.1u, Zoom very positively surprised, even if everything is not perfect (especially not very convincing distortion and amp simulations fairly average).

This pedal is very useful to me, although I do not use USB. Indeed, to save on PC, I use the USB connection on my Behringer mixing desk.
For a bassist who seek a completely stand-alone, it is certainly a good choice, with its headphone jack and USB connection, and its comprehensive capabilities. The price / quality ratio is very good.

effects like chorus, reverb, flanger, compressor sound good but the distortion / overdrive and simulations amp poor sound!

I do not use it anymore but I used it .. After a week she get drunk already
We find little better numerically .. side of the line at 6 for example.
This pedal interresser especially bassists beginner but will be very poor for bass player.
No I do not do it again this election. Ya better
