The set consists of two pickups (neck pickup and bridge pickup) types for Jazz Bass 5-string bass. I have mounted a CB2 Schack. They are plugged into a preamp from the same brand HR 5 / 2. The sound is deep, warm but still a good offense. The rendering is very convincing and if is huge especially since the bass has sustain a large (36-pitch "). The whole frequency range is, serious midrange and treble with a dominant in the lower medium. In Besides that, the pickups do not produce any background noise (much appreciated on stage).
I chose these pickups just for brand awareness and especially because I have always loved the sound Barto.
These microphones are quite expensive in France, I have therefore purchased Allemegne for a reasonable price (€ 139) over quality.
It is now more than six months that I have, and I'm really happy. It's good stuff.
